In my personal experience, resolve still has a lot of bugs and crashes on me often, but not quite as much as premier pro, and all the other pros keep me on resolve.
100% agree. I used Premiere on Mac and PC for 8 years, every new version brought more stability issues. It was not good for someone that edits for a living EVERY day. Davinci is really awesome, stable, and no need to round trip to other programs.
First I used PP, then I switched to DVR and then again switched to PP due to node issue… but when I switched to PP I feel its a toy. DVR is much powerful than PP. Now I upgraded studio version.
I agree 100% with you! But one thing that I find a little bit better in Premier is the UI personnalisation. But Davonci is still better than Premier for sure!

Which is why davinci is better than normal video editing software because nodes will be always better than layer based video editing softwares as for 3D softwares.
it still uses layers? only the fusion and color grading tabs uses nodes. you can still edit just fine without touching any of those tabs, tho you can do so much more if you do learn it

Eeek I've had about 2 crashes using Premiere for the past year (Also it helps having auto save if you're worried!), and this is using dynamic links for after Effects and Photoshop. If I was solemnly editing videos deffo Davinci but cause I gotta work with graphics and VFX it's Prem all the way. Just cause of the flexibility between the adobe software!
Bit nodes are not hard just think of it as layes but just basically a wire connecting to it also you can think of how we parent something in after effects... i learned all about nodes in just one week 😅i guess its more easy than after effects although i have AE Pr and davinchi all three😅 for editing
I have davinci, but I also like making edits of cars. The problem is Davinci lacks effects. So I realy want after effect, because it always looks like there is way more effects and is easier to use them.
I tried After Effects as a beginner. IMO, it takes some practice to know how to use it. As someone who has made quite a few edits in the past, I'd recommend CapCut.
you have to use the fusion, but yes then you get motion blur on nearly any node. And you can even add motion blur onto video later using optical flow+vector motion blur
as a professional, i dont care about price, and stability? My Resolve crashes way more often than my Premiere... And features? Yeah, Resolve is After Effects, Premiere and Audition in one but if you dont have a problem with using multiple programs than those programs combined are much more capable than Resolve.
I can't wait for DaVinci to become the standard editing software. To be honest, I feel like most people are only using Premiere at this point because of status. Adobe has build an image that their products are the best and there's no discussion about it, but that hasn't been the reality for years. That are many softwares today that can do the same stuff, with less bugs, and without making a fool of you with subscription plans.

I pay around 10 bucks per month for the whole adobe suite which includes stuff like illustrator or photoshop which davinci does not have. It never crashed in the last years and you can set the auto saving time to 5 minutes or so. For editing I find it easier than Davinci, but Davinci has better color grading options.
Its not always true that one for all software will be better than multiple. I like comping in nuke rather than fusion inside resolve. Likewise someone with a bit of experience in sound mixing would prefer their own softwares.
Davinci crashes too but it does auto back up and I set it to every 5 minutes so I only will lose 5 minutes of work.] and what I like is the Edit History is like a list you can see all your edits and track back if you made a mistake and find 5 steps later.
It's true that Premiere Pro would need several apps to do several features from DaVinci, as well that I got Adobe Media Encoder which wastes my disk space and also because my previews are really laggy.
Lets not forget that adobe lets you crack premiere pro, also its easier learning premiere pro than davinci resolve, alao davinci resolve always needs aome high high end pc to use it and for premiere you don't
What are you yappin about, premiere is slow if your hardware is mid, and davinci is easy to edit on, if you know how to edit in one software you basically know how to edit anywhere

Everyone says this, BUT be carful because no one mentions that Ae + Pr is better than Da Vinci, therefore Da Vinci is better than premiere. So if you want to get into vfx or advanced motion design Ae will be better.
For sure, it's pretty amazing buying a 450euro keyboard gets you the 300euro software, you end up only paying 150euro! This is common in music software, you buy a product and it comes with a software, but it's usually a really stripped down version of the full thing, unlike davinci
Davinci resolve crashed on me so many times I couldn’t do a Time lapses video and used a Filmora instead and it way smoother and simpler and didn’t crash on me and Davinci resolve requires certain specs to run properly. If you got in iffy pc good luck
I have a ten year old mac, but outdated as it is, it can still run Davinci and it’s only crashed once or twice. I’m not sure if that’s a win for apple or davinci resolve, but either way I’m not sure what specs you’re talking about.
Your saying you have an iffy pc! It obviously won’t work fast! It’s meant to work on a high powered machine! Filmora, which ive used for years, only needs 8 gigs of ram

they are propably faster and easier to use, but in davinci you have more control and can make higher quality videos, especially when it comes to color grading, motion graphics or vfx

The price is the ultimate winner, but premiere has gotten way better at doing everything without leaving premiere and it's AI for things like color grading and sound design makes things way easier. Not to mention lots of 3rd party support for Plugins graphics, you have it. Again, the price is the winner, but premiere is easier to use, plus way more tutorials. God bless Mr Alex Tech, Casey Ferris, Patrick Stirling,BMD, and others for helping us learn Resolve. In the long run, it's a better solution.

I prefer how DaVinci works over Adobe. For my own content I would stick with DaVinci. The RUclipsrs I help edit all use Adobe. Both are goo, both work

Resolve doesn't use nodes - Fusion and the color page use nodes. The edit page uses layers like every other editing software.
