i had created a straight line in version 3. but could not use it in version 5 after i imported it, that was at least 6 years ago, had forgotten how to do it, Thanks for the refresher, Cantt wait to get back to it, after finishing all these face masks.
From The opening screen after choosing Pantograph and selecting the horizontal line, do you choose to sew it as: 1) place as a single pattern or 2) sew in zones?
@@TheQuiltedPoodle I was also getting errors. What I discovered is that instead of choosing pantograph, I chose Select and sew. Then it worked every time. Why I do not know but I'm glad it works. Appreciate your videos!
Sorry I haven't Had the time to make a quick video that explains if you are in power panto you cannot use a horizontal basting line created in pattern CAD because that file is a .GPF file.. Power panto only uses the .pow extension files. Having said that, Open up the program in Basic mode, create your horizontal basting line then switch to Power Panto To create and stitch out your pantograph.
I've followed your directions and was able to save it. But when i go to pantograph and pick the pattern it tells me error 9 and kicks me out. Any idea why?
Which quilting machine do you have. I have a Juki. After you select Pantograph from the main screen then select your pattern, the basting line, do you stitch it as a single pattern or sew in zones?
The Quilted Poodle I have a crown jewell III. I did exactly as your directions but it gives me an error 9 and kicks me out. I’ve had grace co try to help me a few months back. Said it might be a glitch
@@wendytaecker4136 Sorry to hear that. I have to run some errands this morning then when I come back I will PM you and see if we can get around the error. I also have a friend in the QCT Club that has a Crown Jewell so I will consult with her. I suspect it will be around noon before I get back home.
Great job!! Please do more videos on the cards ! Thanks so much !!
That is so smart! Never thought of placing that to match up the batting and top. Very clever!
The bastingine will not work in Power Panto because the file extension in PP is .pow, not .gpf
Thank you for having such an enjoyable , low key,, and informative RUclips site. I am a new owner of the Juki QCT long arm.

I'm missing my quilting too.
Great Lessons. But you spoke about your poodles. I think you should rename yourself "The Poodle's Quilter".
Love your videos. I need more of them. This is the first time I have learned anything about the CAD screen.
How about Zoom Group
Thanks. Have you seen the FB Live videos that Janet George put together. Lizzy Allen from Australia did an introductory Pattern CAD class.
Thanks,, I have not seen them. I will look for them and watch.
After carefully following your detailed (thank you!) instructions, I keep getting run time errors when attempting to use this pattern.
From The opening screen after choosing Pantograph and selecting the horizontal line, do you choose to sew it as: 1) place as a single pattern or 2) sew in zones?
What is the number on your runtime error, and which machine are you using: I have QCT for Juki
