No problem, you can put your SD card from the Maschine Plus into the computer, locate the folder Native instruments -> User content-> (then add a new folder with your samples)
90% of these apply to Maschine Mk3 too, i bet you'd get more traffic here if you added to the title , just saying - do you do live streams? Just wondering.....
I've never owned a Maschine MK3 until recently ( and I still haven't opened it yet ) so I didn't want to be misleading incase it didn't apply. However, I just might do that! I've only done live streaming on TikTok and Twitch but never on RUclips yet.
Take this advice...Instead of Maschine+, get a Mk3 and pick up a 2nd hand m1 mackbook air. You'll be just as portable (actually even more so because you'll be battery powered), but you'll have way more processing power, a little speaker, and still spend less! Plus you can use all your 3rd party vst's and have your DAW on you at all times. You're welcome :-) 👍👌✌️
Thanks for the advice, but I much rather use the Maschine without the computer. That's my preference. I've been travel just fine with the set up I have now all over the world - but I'm sure your suggestion will help someone else who loves to work on the computer as well as the Maschine! ❤🦒🙏
@janaeenimsaj no doubt, that was advice for anyone new looking to get into Maschine. I delete groups and sounds all the time. So just wondering what is there to be careful about. Especially if you're trying to create your own sound and do something unique. lmk your thoughts.
with the 'erase Replace' button the channel settings are set to its defaults. That is you have to take in to account. when you do not want to change the channel settings then its better to remove sounds with the remove button, this will not effect the channel settings, maybe your way of doing it.@@janaeenimsaj
Hi!! I understand your point of view for sure lol. However, id like to mention that I actually travel all the time with my Maschine+ It’s been all around the world with me lol ( I’ve also managed to use mine as a standalone « without the computer » plenty of times. ) While you do have to plug the device in to use it, you can do that with a portable charging box ( which I also purchased and use sometimes while being outdoors ) And a recent update allows you to sample any of your sounds from your Native instruments library and save them onto an SD card ( this way you can have more of your sounds on the Maschine Plus as well. ) So here are a few ways to use Maschine plus without a computer. If you found this video misleading I apologize 🙏 it was just a tutorial on how to use things on Maschine. Again I totally understand! ❤️
Yeah, i too have an external battery velcro'ed to the bottom with 15V Ripcord, works great and standalone all day anywhere! Haven't seen a crash since last update, making music with really good NI sounds wherever and whenever i want.... This is a miracle Maschine, and i'm really sorry if you have found IT to be otherwise; for myself, this device is absolutely the greatest thing i've ever played on that is not a traditional instrument, and i've been playing guitar for 33 years at this point 🤙🎶🌌
@@janaeenimsajyeah I assume that power bank X sd card life, this video was very informative & cool.. I actually hope they make a Maschine+ Mk2 with a chargeable battery & a removable ssd or added ssd slot..
why is it that if i tune and stretch a loop in sample mode, then go to slice, everything I just did disappears? This has to be the stupidest sampler on the market
Hi, it doesn’t disappear, it’s still on the sampler. However when you go to slice that’s a different mode. If you instead go to edit and use that to chop your samples you’ll here the effect is still there. Oooor you could resample the pitching you did to another pad then use slice to chop the new sample.
@@janaeenimsaj coming from a MPC, and Ableton’s Simpler, that is extremely complicated. The MK3 and Maschine Plus are supposed to be samplers. NI stop discontinued the keyboard as if Maschine was just for sample production and instruments played on a keyboard were more for DAWs. This thing technically can not be called a sampler tho. It sucks. The time stretching is a joke; no live warping; and I don’t know what’s going on with the tuner. And Ive already expressed the complications with slicing. I highly doubt not recommend this.
@@mrsicc6100 I also use MPC and in my opinion they aren't crazy different when it comes to sampling. They both actually help me learn each other. 90% of these apply to Maschine Mk3 too, i bet you'd get more traffic here if you added to the title , just saying
- do you do live streams?
Just wondering.....
I've never owned a Maschine MK3 until recently ( and I still haven't opened it yet ) so I didn't want to be misleading incase it didn't apply. However, I just might do that! I've only done live streaming on TikTok and Twitch but never on RUclips yet.
If you USB your plus on the software, you are back to a standard MK3. I own a Mikro MK3 and am wishing NI would create an MK4.
@@artisans8521 I recently used it this way and I actually like it!

@@tomplatt8087 thank you! 🙏
Can I get some kind of black friday sale on the course. 😂 real talk, i don't need for a life time
😬 sorry lol
If you already have a +, you can obviously still use it with a laptop...so at that point you might as well keep it and have the option for standalone lol. It would be great if they released one with a top tier processor tho 👍
@@EricJohnson-fh8zj oooh ok ok lol I wasn't sure if it was meant for me or not. Yes very true, and maybe they'll have an update for that too soon!

Woot woot!! 🦒❤️🙏
Ive neen a Maschine owner for over 3 years,
Why does it seem like some ppl know all these tricks, and others dont?
I've messed with maschine almost on a daily basis for over a year, ive downloaded and read the manual.... 🤷♂️🤔
I've had mine for about the same amount of time and I think it may be because everyone uses their gear in different manners. Thanks for watching and giving so much input!! 🙏🦒❤️

Thank you for pointing that out! 🦒🙏❤
9th wonder didn't care 😂.
9th didn't use a Maschine for 99% of his work@@artisans8521 . Anyways, I don't care abt who uses what. I only focus on what I would like to do as far as when it comes to my Compositional needs. I like to have totally freedom when sequencing arrangements.
I have a Masters in music theory, I'm school teacher (pianist).

deleting groups or sounds affects the channel setting, be careful.
Would you like to elaborate?
I delete groups and sounds all the time. So just wondering what is there to be careful about. Especially if you're trying to create your own sound and do something unique. lmk your thoughts.
with the 'erase Replace' button the channel settings are set to its defaults. That is you have to take in to account. when you do not want to change the channel settings then its better to remove sounds with the remove button, this will not effect the channel settings, maybe your way of doing it.@@janaeenimsaj
Have no idea what he (or she) us talking about, and I use Maschine since 2020, thanks to an Instagram post by Grimes.
Hi fellow Maschine user! 🦒❤🙏@@artisans8521
Awesome Tutorial!! Sexy Voice!!! THanks
Thank you! I’m glad it was helpful! 🙏❤️🦒
20 things too much, i sold my Maschine+ in favour to Elektron products.
Thank you for sharing your opinion! Enjoy your new gear! 🙏❤️🦒

If You're Getting a Maschine+ Thinking that it's really Standalone or Portable
Its not 😂
Misleading
Overpriced

I hope they make a Maschine+ Mk2 that Adresses the issues coz it's like 10% away from being the perfect device
@@janaeenimsajyeah I assume that power bank X sd card life, this video was very informative & cool.. I actually hope they make a Maschine+ Mk2 with a chargeable battery & a removable ssd or added ssd slot..
That would be a game changer for sure!!!! @@JayfkProductions876
why is it that if i tune and stretch a loop in sample mode, then go to slice, everything I just did disappears?
But I can definitely understand how you feel the way you feel for sure! Have you considered taking it back and getting your money back since you're so dissatisfied? Good luck with your music! 🦒❤🙏
@@janaeenimsaj can’t take it back. Tried selling it to Guitar Center and was told they have way too many MK3s and Maschine Pluses. I was told their system won’t even accept them. No updates or upgrades in years, no longer supporting Maschine, hardware keyboards that don’t even work with Maschine anymore… it appears many users have lost hope in the Maschine platform and moved on. Even you have a MPC.
You are super talented!
Thanks love! 🦒
Great tips, thanks @janaeenimsaj - looking forward to more.
