    I am a Nu life member I submitted my claim in Sept last year so I get a call from the VA two months later trying to schedule me the same c&p exams again. I told them I already took those exams and I have a copy of the DBQ. She told me hold on lol Came back on and said the Doctor who gave the exams will get in touch with rater. I dont know what happen I'm still waiting. If they deny me I will go HLR route because all the evidence is there I have a copy of all my DBQ's so they cant say I refused the exams lol the longer the wait the bigger the back pay

      Like most organizations, mistakes will be made because of insufficient training, turnover of personnel, and a quota system in processing paperwork. 🙏

      Make sure that the doctor didn't just submit a DBQ but that they also submitted a Medical Opinion. The VA did the same thing to me where the C&P examiner rated me total and Permanent but the VA never requested a medical opinion. 2 months later they requested a medical opinion from the doctor but LHI told them they dropped the ball. The VA was supposed to request that with the initial exam and they would need to request a new exam. On the same day the VA requested a new C&P exam in where the C&P examiner lied which was adverse to my claim.

    Good information…. You are so right about veteran not pushing forward to get a 💯 % or a high level rating. Thanks for sharing 😊

    Outstanding points on HLR! I hope we don't have to use it for the three DIC claims that I am assisting spouses with and the seven veterans. I love your concise, brief to the point videos.

    Got 100% p&t January of 2023 from 70%; my heart dropped when I saw my rate increase. Now I’m trying to find others like me and learn how to live all over again. These last two years have been tough because my mom passed away last year randomly and this year my dad is terminally ill and on hospice in my apartment. These things have destroyed me emotionally.

    Brother I am 100% P&T (through another 2 orgs.). I send everyone to your videos and hopefully they sign up. You are knowledgeable AND motivating! Seems like only 1 in 10 is willing to go the distance. But I don’t give up on them. Be blessed my brother.

    Excellent information. Thank You.
    I just submitted a HLR for my denial of TDIU. They considered my hip injuries and told me that I could find sedentary work but they didn't consider my 70% rated Major Depressive Disorder. I've been seeing a psychiatrist at the VA for almost 7 years regularly so I'm sure they had plenty of notes to look at. With this HLR, I referenced CFR codes in my notes and I'm sending them in with the 21-4138 form so when we have our informal conference, they're able to view my notes as well(my VSO said that I could do this). I was told I could possibly have another C&P exam but it's fine. I'll take whatever they throw at me.
    P.S.
    This is my first denial after 3 successful increases on my own. I went from 10% to 60% to 80% and then another 20% increase but I'm still sitting at 80%. All together I have 110% but of course with military math, they do things their way.

    I’m 100% P&T. What no one talks about is about the GAF scores.

    • @lg7728
      @lg7728 Год назад

      GAF scores have been replaced by WHODAS. What is WHODAS 2.0?
      WHODAS 2.0 stands for World Health Organization Disability Assessment Schedule 2 (WHODAS 2.0). It is a 36-item questionnaire that helps assess mental health symptoms.

    I am currently 90% veteran of the Iraq War. I do believe I have exhausted my evidence, with my current conditions, however I have been trying to get MRIs done on my spine with the VA, they wouldn't do it. Just kept saying we have your x-rays we know that you have degenerative disc disease. My back is getting worse. I do have a new VA medical provider I will try with her about the MRIS. My next question is I have another condition that showed up 9 years after I left the Army, I really can't pinpoint a in-service event that link, it started back in May of 2020 and actually calls me to wreck and total my vehicle that condition is seizures. I've never had them before, and I don't have any family history. Just up a one-day a few months after turning 39 and 9 years out of the army bam started having seizures, they are confusing for myself and my family. I am getting treatment through the VA for the seizures seeing a neurologist and getting prescription medication through the VA for the seizures. I was just trying to find something where might been able to link that seizures, or perhaps just go through a higher review?

      Have you been diagnosed with any type of mental illness? If not, you may want to reach out to the mental health department at your local VA ans schedule an appointment. That can be something you can claim. It sounds very stressful what you're going through and I can only imagine how you function on a day to day basis.
