I agree! As I watch these tutorials I catch myself wondering if I should get work done. Wish more "normal" women who didn't look like a 20 yr old models did tutorials so the results would be more attainable. More girls and women would find more self confidence if they had a realistic view of themselves and of the people they're learning from.
@@albertlopez2237 women can chose not to wear it. My sister has never worn make up. I personally enjoy applying it and wearing jewelry and all things girly.
I love how naturally old school you are with your makeup … non of this layer upon layer upon layer upon bake upon powder upon bake and so on they all do theses days … you always look perfectly beautiful afterwards too 🤩

She looks so beautiful before and after, I just find getting older that I cant bother with all the filling in and making it like a pic, a tiny bit of concealer and some eye liner maybe a drop or two of eyeshadow good enough

I learned more in this ten minute video than I have in any of the many videos that I have watched. I put it i to action this morning - took me seven minutes as I only did sunscreen on my face. I ran into a neighbour while walking my dog at 6:30 am and she asked how I managed to look so pulled together at that hour! Thank you!

When you say "real woman" it sometimes implies that that person isnt as beautiful as the person whose had work done. Not saying you meant that, but to me she looks a thousand times better than the pinched and plastic faces I see at the mall. Natural was never back for me- I love makeup, but I was a teen in the early 60's before women began going bare faced and I never quit wearing makeup. I think it has protected my skin-now at age 70 I am told by many I look mid 40s!

Dear Monique, you are so lovely without and with makeup. I'm French (maybe like you? ). The exquisite women I grew up with taught me to feel confident with or without makeup. I'm so grateful for that. They wore very little or no makeup, treated their skin like they had to wear it every day, all day 😉, and dressed like Vogue's cover. So to sum up: if you don't want to make time for makeup, don't wear any. We are all "enough" just as we are!

Couldn't have come at a better time. I was debating telling my grandaughter I cant make it to her school event. I just feel like I just cant go through the "getting ready" process( having a bad week).

Try something with vitamin C in it. This really will brighten your complexion. I use Murad Essential C cleanser. After about 4 was of AM&PM use, I noticed a big difference. And, don't forget your sunscreen .☺️
Black seed oil helped to reduce my darker spots. It aslo smoothed out my skin. Took a few months though.
I'm reminded of the speed and efficiency of watching my mother get ready for work before the sun was up as a little kid, what products she used, why she liked them, and not being into make up myself I liked watching her feel her own brand of confidence and sense of self. With her being much older now and having difficulty seeing, I've been watching videos like yours to help do her make-up with her and help her feel that confidence again. This is a wonderful channel I'll certainly be sharing it with her.

I'm 51 and my hair is literally falling out by the handful every day. I've been feeling sad about losing my thick voluminous hair, but you look absolutely amazing with finer hair and have given me hope that even as my hair ages I can still feel good about it. Thank-you for your no-nonsense style and practical help.

dont despair. Same, then post operations had to take Ensure protein ++ powder, in pharmacies, used in hospitals. hair grew back 3 times thicker and better colour.

I'm right there with you! After MANY years of trial and error (about the same for me as you) I have my routine and can be done in 10 minutes. But if I'm not in a hurry and it's a special occasion I usually do 30 minutes
Wow, best makeup video I've ever seen. I've never seen anyone else say "Watch me and learn" like this and it makes a huge difference. You don't need excessive talking. Love this! Definitely going to start just smudging out my eyeliner when I'm in Crunch Mode. My current strategy of "hope that I just do perfect, symmetrical winged eyeliner on the first try when I'm already ten minutes late" hasn't been working out.

Thank you for making me feel good about my white/silver hair! I am 44 and over the past few years, my hair has turned mostly to silvery white. I am disabled with chronic medical issues and that has contributed to it for me. I have had people in public ask if it my color is natural, yep, it is… I used to be quite self conscious about it. My late father turned mostly silver/white haired in his early 40s as well. It’s nice to see more embracing this. Wish more women did. Your hair is beautiful with your coloring!

I am so happy to have "stumbled" upon your video. It is extremely refreshing to see a woman closer to my age (a gen Xer here) doing make up tutorials. Now I dont have to feel as if I am still wearing my make up the way I did in the 7th grade.
This was great! I'm almost 56 and embraced my gray about 8 years ago. Thankfully, my oldest daughter is my hairdresser, so it grew out gracefully! I've rarely worn makeup because I always feel so clumsy putting it on, but now I feel like I need it to even my complexion and open up my eyes. You make it look so easy!
