ED-209 has been forever engraved into my memory since I've first laid my eyes on it when I was a child!

When I first saw the movie, I did the same thing. I watched that part over and over again. Love the workshop. Great job explaining the process. Looking forward to the next video.

That's the first time I've ever heard the 209 termed 'lovable'. =D I hadn't been by Shawn's site in a long time, but can you imagine seeing ED life size?!?!!? I wish I'd seen this earlier; I did a scale 3D model a long time ago that could have been useful. At any rate, here's to looking forward to Thorsson's soon-to-be legendary build. I only wish I was in the Bay-area!! Wahhhhhh!

Bit on the late side, but those movie clappers have a standard checker patern, which could be used for more accurate measurements

Add in voice control just for fun!!!!!
Make him able to turn at the waist would be cool too so he can target people!
Wheelchair motors would have plenty of power to turn his waist.
