Lol its more like Marilyn on coke. But most of the time she played a smart dumb blonde. Oxymoronic, I know lol. She developed a character that she was good at and her career was based of off it. Her movies weren't the only place she acted. Her whole career was an act, even in her day to day life she put up a front with most acquaintances. She trusted few from the many she knew...

She does sound like that. That's what this was an homage to people and both of them are parodies of marilyn monroe, not accurate representations of her acting. And anna faris was supposed to be so dumb she didn't realize that the "vent scene" that marilyn monroe was in was a fake one. She tried standing on an actual vent and the hot air from below burned her legs.
You could have replaced Charles Barkley with a giant stuffed panda and this skit would have literally lost none of it’s charm.

Yes. It's bad. We can all see him not even attempting to hide reading the cards. But I don't care, there's a sincerity in him doing this. It's hard to explain, and I'm sure he knows he's no great actor, he knows his talent was basketball. But he still gets on stage and jokes around and acts like a goof. His good time resonates through the screen to me and I have a good time with him. His inability to act is part of the charm.

You gotta remember he’s not a professional actor he’s an athlete but he still got up there and did his best.
I think he did okay for someone who does not act.
And remember they only have a week to rehearse and get their lines and parts down.
