Such a weird feeling from hearing a song when I was a younger child and not really understanding what the lyrics meant, fast forward almost 15+ years later and re-listen to it since then, with a new perspective on life, and this song and lyrics are just way too relatable
haha, I remember this from when I was 12 or 13 years old. It's amazing how the internet/youtube has allowed us to catalogue so much of our culture (with such fidelity/clarity) from decades ago.
Make up your mind and I'll make up mine Don't worry about me, I'll be fine Those words that you said to me, why wasn't I listening? I wish I hadn't met you at all, I started thinking I'll sit back and relax and wait for the morning We'll wake up, we'll make up and do this for the last time We'll wake up, we'll make up and do this for the last time If we break up, we'll wind up losing both of our minds So wake up, let's make up and do this for the last time Make up your mind and I'll make up mine Don't worry about me, I'll be fine The last time you yelled at me I swore that I heard you say I wish I hadn't met you at all, I started thinking I'l sit back and relax and wait for the morning We'll wake up, we'll make up and do this for the last time We'll wake up, we'll make up and do this for the last time If we break up, we'll wind up losing both of our minds So wake up, let's make up and do this for the last time When will we make up, will we break up? Let's wake up, let's wake up, let's wake up Make up your mind and I'll make up mine Don't worry about me, I'll be fine Those words that you said to me, why wasn't I listening? I wish I hadn't met you at all, I started thinking We'll wake up, we'll make up and do this for the last time We'll wake up, we'll make up and do this for the last time If we break up, we'll wind up losing both of our minds So wake up, let's make up and do this for the last time Let's wake up, let's make up and do this for the last time If we break up, we'll wind up losing both of our minds Let's wake up, let's make up
I love this song and the album it's from (I honestly think it is still the best TOAD album to date). It is kinda weird seeing Tyler with the stache though, but he's rocking it. It's like when I watched the video for "Give" by Cold and saw Scooter Ward with hair lol.
This song relates so well. 3 years together and a couple things end it all. I'm still waiting for her to make her decision, please make the right one and stay :(
Theory of a Deadman became the first act to sign with Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger's 604 Records imprint in 2001. Tyler Connolly (vocals, guitar; born August 26, 1975) reportedly slipped a copy of the band's demo (which would become the song "Invisible Man") to Kroeger at a post-concert party and the two were soon collaborating on songs together. They released their eponymous debut album Theory of a Deadman on September 17, 2002. The name of the band comes from a song off their first album, whose lyrics describe a man preparing to commit suicide. That track was renamed to "The Last Song".
They are one of the best bands out here my wife and I have seen them 5 times and loved every concert of there's they are one of the best bands out here
I’m literally living this. Just found this song. My wife/separated wife has been with two guys one girl. And she’s currently keeps coming back saying I want you (me) then does this. I can’t make my mind up cause even tho she hurts me we’ve been together for 19 years. She has a grip on me I can’t release. The whole music video is so symbolic for me the first guy was a one night stand then the last guy is current like today current she’s confused if she wants him or me. Every time it happened I hoped she’d realize and come back. Then currently I’m just holding onto painful memories and living miserably.
Theory of a Deadman DOES NOT sound like Nickelback.....They have their own distinct sound. However, the genre is the same so it's easy to get it confused..
This is what you get when Creed and Nickelback collaborate. Meh. whatever. Usually shitfaced when listening to said groups and Theory. You call this the "guilty pleasure" to music snobs. But yeah, My Own Prison was pretty damn good.
Look at this photograph Every time I do it makes me laugh How did our eyes get so red? And what the hell is on Joey's head? oh sorry I thought it was the same song
Okay, so I'm the only one who preferred the old look to the 50's "Grease" throwback pompadour he's wearing now? At least they used to look like a rock band. I still listen to TOAD a LOT, but visually, these are the guys I remember from 3 years ago.

Still my favourite album & favourite song from you guys! 🤘🏼
And it still freaking rocks
Parabéns adoro o som de vocês 👏👏
Y'all got me through 2 ex wives. Here's a toast for for a awesome band and hopefully the soundtrack for my 3rd ex. Love y'all
I love when you find a cool band, and then listen to a random song, and realize you've loved them for years longer than you thought.
Oh yeah i agree with you...they are from USA arent they?
@@jorgeegustavo27 They're a Canadian band from BC actually.
I love you for that
I just wish they put songs out like this again
I have always listened to Theory...when nobody else did.🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️🎶🎶🎶
Shinedown is another AWESOME band....trust me.
One of my favourite songs! Reminds me of driving down the road, windows open on a sunny summer day with my mom when I was 10 ❤️
Such a weird feeling from hearing a song when I was a younger child and not really understanding what the lyrics meant, fast forward almost 15+ years later and re-listen to it since then, with a new perspective on life, and this song and lyrics are just way too relatable
Love how it starts slow, but then gets to the heavy I know and love.
This isn't exactly heavy. Hour of Penance is heavy.
Im a 90's kid and this was one of my favourite songs growing up. Still a great song today in my opinion.
Always will be to this 39 year old man
It's from 2002. So maybe you're a 2000's kid too.
Met my wife in 91 all the years we were together we jammed to all their songs , great memories 💯✌️
Ugh I saw them live and they are sooooooo good. I love you Theory!!!!! It meant the world to me to see them in concert.
They were playing free on Freemont St. In Las Vegas the last time I was there. Lucky day to be there
That's so cool
I saw them in 2017 and just saw them again 3 days ago and both concerts were amazing

haha, I remember this from when I was 12 or 13 years old. It's amazing how the internet/youtube has allowed us to catalogue so much of our culture (with such fidelity/clarity) from decades ago.
This is the song that made me fall in love with this band when I saw them live.
"So wake up.. Let's make up" love this group! Live they are amazing!
I haven't heard this song in years...... I love it.... reminds me of ole friends... RIP
This is the Theory Of A Deadman that I remember, rock on!
They were so awesome when they came out! I miss stuff like this.
these songs are so simple.... its the arrangements that make them special
Make up your mind and I'll make up mine

When will we make up, will we break up?
Let's wake up, let's wake up, let's wake up

One of my favorite bands growing up.
Totally forgot about this band until today and I can't believe Theory of a Deadman is still around
I love this song and the album it's from (I honestly think it is still the best TOAD album to date). It is kinda weird seeing Tyler with the stache though, but he's rocking it. It's like when I watched the video for "Give" by Cold and saw Scooter Ward with hair lol.
one of my all time fave songs!!! you guys ROCK!!!
Only TOAD I acknowledge. Everything they did after that first album could never measure up.
This song relates so well. 3 years together and a couple things end it all. I'm still waiting for her to make her decision, please make the right one and stay :(
I hope she does as well brother
Love this song! Really making me think about a lot! Good job I LOVE Theory Of A Deadman!
Their song "What Was I Thinking" is really about the mustache he had in this video.
I just read this & like nearly fell out LMFAO!!!
:p
Noooohuuuu come on xD
Am I the only one that thinks his moustache is a cool look?
@@linkbiff1054 I do too! any mustache is a good look on anyone really.
Whoever told him to shave... THANK YOU!!!!
Why I like the hair on his face
Yeah the facial hair is cool
Happy Birthday Tyler ❤🎉
September 2022, I'm 42! Gosh, still love this song! Always will!

Dude had to pay homage to nickelback they were they're songwriters
But it's a killer stache!
Awesome song, I love it 😎
The radio station in my city plays this almost every day still
XJlover I'd love to live in your city 😂 Love this track
i love it-the mustache i mean. lol The vid and song made me think . thts wat i love about TOAD .♥.
I didn’t know this was Theory of a Deadman when I first heard it
This song was my gang at 16 years old and I still love it!
I don't know how I feel about the moustache look
Same here lol although I'm leaning towards the "better as a memory" side.
Colin Donovan sorry but look that was 4 years ago when he had dont think he has it any more
I know that. He has the soul patch now
Lol I used to think it was a cool look for him.
TOAD at there Best !!!!
They all look soo much better now...
Great concert they sure know how to put on a show!
wow I didn't expect the bride to start making out with practically everyone XD
wannna make up with u woman and sniff the shit outta you ....
I love this band with a passion, also I like her wedding dress, I'd like something similar but with some lace.
What's better: The song or the moustache?
I grow up with this song since I was 11 years old and I never quit this song
The moustache though.... it took me by surprise.
Though is a conjunction you stupid bitch
Love this band and this is one of my favorite songs. Never seen them live...wonder how they are?
Amazing, Seen them twice and met them after one of the shows. Got all their Autographs on shirt. Still have it to this day!
If I had a nickel for every time when someone says Theory Of A Dead Man sounded like Nickelback
Brian Tung lol Chad kroeger has produced some of there stuff so that does make sense
Peppa Pig Hell Yeah 💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰
they did back then. not so much now
You'd get a nickel back
well, this song and a couple others yes. but stuff they produced by themselves has a unique sound.
It's strange to see Tyler with a long mustache. I'm so glad he cleaned up!
Such nickelback, such wow
Love this song when theory ruled the airwaves
Tyler looks so much better without the beard.
Andrew Edwards well when I herd this song in 2003 he had moustache I didn't think it was weird
bossgamer but look at him with it and then without it.

that mustache though...
Was about to say the same thing, wow. Didn't recognize him.
Dat creeper stache....
All in a day's work, my friend!
Theory of a Deadman DOES NOT sound like Nickelback.....They have their own distinct sound. However, the genre is the same so it's easy to get it confused..
I like Theory more than Nickelback
It sounds like nickelback so much lol
They clearly sound like Nickelback, and that's not a surprise since Chad Kroeger produces them and even co-writes some of the lyrics.
I like both but i can tell they have diffrent vibes. I could see somone confusing them tho.
Dayum.. that's pretty good
tooootally not digging Tyler's weird lookin' stache.
YOUNG TYLER!!!
This is what you get when Creed and Nickelback collaborate.
Meh. whatever. Usually shitfaced when listening to said groups and Theory. You call this the "guilty pleasure" to music snobs.
But yeah, My Own Prison was pretty damn good.
I’m making the 1000th comment and that’s final. Hail Theory!🤟🔥
Theory of a Nickelback
Well, chad kroeger did write the whole album that this song is on for them.
Of a Seether, Hinder, Creed, Nickelcrack, etc, etc.
I thought the same... And he sounds like Seether Singer too.
@F*** You No doubt. Not to mention this album dropped before Seether released their first album.
I just choked on my water and some came out my nose because of this comment.
how could any one dislike this song
my father played this song before he died 13 years ago
the mustache.... at least its gone... but DEAR GOD MAN WHAT WERE YOU THINKING! putting that stache in such an awesome video .-.
Look at this photograph
Every time I do it makes me laugh
How did our eyes get so red?
And what the hell is on Joey's head?
oh sorry I thought it was the same song
I love it!! The lead singer looks completely different, but in a good way! =) hot damn!
the bride chick looks a lot like Victoria Beckham
Greg Ayala hotter bro
freaking awesome!
That moustache... Thank God it's gone...

TOAD sounds a lot like Nickelback in this song.
Theory of a Deadman - TOAD, Got It? LOL!
I love this band
TYLER!!! Wtf is on your facccee? Oh, hell.
+Devin White you are a new listener aren't you? This is when they were decently heavy and had an attitude to go with their feeling
HelloJennyReviews 😂😂😂😂
enjoyed listening to this
This is essentially a recycled “how you remind me” reboot.
This one takes me back.
When Theory of a Deadman was cool.
2 years later and still a relevant comment
