I saw them twice in Perth in the 90's. The best shows I've ever seen. I remember them launching into Walk and the whole crowd started bouncing. It was so electric that I still get chills today just thinking about it.
@@ryanday9288 I think it was better live than on the albums. Pantera's road crew were honed over the years and knew how to create a killer live sound. Dime's guitar tech really knew his business.
Long time Dime fan here. My jaw dropped when you got that tone from a 5153. I've had the Randall Centuries, 80's RG100's, warheads and and X2 Randall. You nail the tone. I'm going to give this a whirl with mine when I get the EQFH.
My original account has been watching you for 11 years. I believe hard lines was my first watch of yours. Couldn't remember your name until I looked at my subs. Great to see you still going strong!
I actually started watching you years ago when I had no intentions of playing guitar I just found it interesting, then about 6 months ago actually started playing so its even more interesting now.
Welcome back brother. So glad you returned. I just had gotten back into jamming again after a 16 year hiatus when I found you, then you retired shortly after. Talk about a total bummer!! Don't burn yourself out. Just release content when you want to. I promise you, we'll still be here.
Another great video my friend. I do have to say if it wasn't for you putting out videos and me going back and watching all of your videos on the Marshall DSL 20 head, and all the great settings you recommend and show to the RUclips audiences just grateful that you do that. I played for many years but have taken literally 12 years off because of major injuries so I'm getting back into it and trying my best and your videos keep me moving motivated. So please keep on putting out your videos they are greatly appreciated to even the smallest 51-year-old newbie back to a guitar than ever. Thank you for everything,
Same here man, he got me back into it after 12 years off and the DSL vids got me back into it because he hacked numerous good tones out of an affordable amp and a couple pedals... now I'm just deciding which amp to get next and I'm leaning towards the 5153. Especially if more content for tone hacks comes out. Chopper just nails tones and plays amazing as well, one of my favorite channels.
Thank you soo much to give pictures of your settings. Your Tones are great and its very kindly to give it for free in a picture with descriptions. You're definitely in my book of cool people now
Been following for years, wanting to learn about Dime's tone and tricks. I was totally amazed when you said your Washburn wasn't original... wow, it looks just like the real deal. The attention to detail is amazing. Great videos.
All this info you provide is a goldmine for us, these tones are amazing, and learned alot about EQs from your content, thanks man, great to see you making more content, and cherry on the cake is that its a Dimebag video too!
Welcome back bro!!! When you rolled off the volume and hit the opening notes from hard lines, sunken cheeks I inadvertently gave an out loud "ohhh yeah" in the car... haha
Master Effects make some absolutely brilliant pedals, been on my shopping list for a while. Great demo, and kick-ass job matching the tone - VERY cool!
The king of tone! 🤘🏻 Your tone mastery is just unmatched on YT. I could listen to and watch you tinker with tones all day lol. Sounded so damn good! Loving the new setup too! I noticed a couple of White Fangs on your desk, How'd you like them yourself? They're my go to. I love em! Great video mate! 🤘🏻
@@LambChopper678 Yeah same thoughts myself! You lose that nice sharp tip pretty quick lol. Might try some other ones once I've worn all mine out. Much prefer the White Fangs over the original Black Fangs for sure.
Hey man love the channel and I’m glad your back brother! He actually had the MXR 6 band into the PQ4 low inputs then into the amp, I actually replicated his rig for the tone and I have all the settings as well.
I’ve heard this but I have no idea how it works. I remember Dime in interviews talking about it. He was saying Vinnie looked at his rig going into recording CFH and said it was all wrong and shouldn’t work. It always just made sense to me that the furman was in the loop
So glad you're back man. Sometimes I struggle with focus as far as my guitar playing goes, but when I see a new LambChopper video it's like I took a handful of adderall.
KIller tone man! Thanks for showing the four cable NS-2 method too, I had no idea how to use the send return function on my noise suppressor until now. Cheers mate!
THE TONE KING IS BACK!!! WOOYEAH!!!!

I would give anything to hear Dimes tone live, i can only imagine how brutal it was in person

@@Textra1 I agree, his live tone was BRUTAL
I am 51. This is my youth. Thanks for the superb tribute and a walk back in time. Mr. Abbot is smiling upon you! Thanks, brother!
So pleased you’re back mate. When you feel like making them, we’ll be here ready to watch them. 🤘🏼

gone for months then BAM back with a 25 min masterpiece 👌
I saw Pantera a few times. After one show in New Orleans, my arms were sore from all the stage divers. lol. They had a truly crushing sound live.

Thanks mate, awesome 🤘🏻
Sooo coool! You really show what these do with the sound! Great ear, great playing! Thanks for these videos!

Pretty epic way to come back, with a bunch of awesome Dimebag riffs. Awesome how you matched his tone. 🤘
I'd love to see you do a tone video on White Zombie's Astro Creep 2000 album. Love the tone on that album

I had to go listen to Reinventing The Steel after this. I didn't know Terry Date remixed the album. Sounds amazing!
can’t stand that fucking remix
Damn, came for the tone stayed for the playing!!
