Nice to see this on RUclips. This was one of my first directing jobs at 19. Hilly was great to work with. He was such a kind and gentle man. Brenda Bergmen and Lisa Yapp did an awesome job. I sing some of these songs to this day, 36 years later. Ariel Lucas Produced this, and Lew Grimes Executive Produced. We had a steadicam and three cameras for the performances. Good times.
Were You There That Following Saturday Night ? There Was More Filming That Delayed My Band from Playing Live But Got Us into the Show - Blue Fyre - "There's A Link In the Roof" Guys. Were You There ? Does That Footage Exist Anywhere ? Whada Dream That'd Be !!!
The first music you hear is "All For The Love Of Rock & Roll" by Tuff Darts. The last voice you hear is that of our beloved impresario Hilly Kristal. Man, I miss hearing his voice. Thank you so much for this!

@sleepynappytime. The band at 19:15 was Idiot Savant. I was the singer in The Hard at 7:00. I have been looking for this video for some time. It took the sound man Robin Danar from CBGBs to find it for me. Those were the days.
