Let's meet Swyam Prakash Singh GATE 2018 Topper (CSE) with AIR 6.
Swyam gave his first attempt in 2017 and scored AIR 588. Watch this video to learn about the things Swyam did right in GATE 2018 Exam and things to avoid in your GATE 2019.
Swyam completed his B.Tech in Electronics and Communication (ECE) but decided to follow his passion for computer science engineering while writing GATE.
Swyam is pursuing M.Tech in IISc Bangalore in computer science and his preparation strategy is something that would be relevant for every GATE aspirant.

For combinatories,best is kneath rosen although i have used brualdi.

Isko dekh k lgta hai engineering ki baki branch band kar do only computer science full on
GATE in CS is easy one can study through online courses EC is difficult one needs good knowledge of maths subjects like EMT requires depth physics knowledge,Network theory also requires it.
Even Ravindraravula also says this in his videos that EC is difficult
.You can yourself try you will find out that GATE CS is easy than other branches.
Nitin Dubey you can't say about it.. As cs is easy but the marks you need to score in gate cs is high to get into iits Whereas in EC the marks also not goes that much in 100

This interview of CTwT is really motivational. This is because Swayam Sir is not only the topper but also scored AIR 6 in CSE though he is from EC branch which is really remarkable. For a Ec graduate giving gate in CS for which PSUs He will be eligible?
No psu eligibility neither ISRO or DRDO BARC most of NITs also do not allow ec branch guys for Mtech in CS i have checked eligibilty option bhaut kum bachte hai old IITs is only option even in new IITs they do not allow
IIT BOMBAY ,KANPUR,ROORKE,KHARAGPUR,DELHI ALL ALLOW FOR MTECH TA 2 YEARS NOT SURE ABOUT MS 3 YEARS .
IIT JODHPUR ALSO ALLOWS for Its new AI course masters
IIT TRIRUPATI NOT
IIT BHILAI NOT SURE
IIIT BANGALORE ALLOWS EC BRANCH ALSO
IIIT H ALSO
BITS ALSO BUT NOT IN ME IN COMPUTER SCIENCE IN SOFTWARE ENGINEERING
ONLY FEEES ARE HIGH IN THESE INSTITUTE BUT PLACEMENTS AT A PAR WITH MOST OF IITs
guys about 90 percent people you have called all are good students from the beginning
you should bring toppers who were average student from average universities and then transformed to toppers
