  • We learn how to calculate areas under the normal distribution bell curve to calculate probabilities, of left tails, right tails and central areas. We start by learning what the probability density function, pdf, does as well as what the role of the cumulative probability density function, cdf, is. Three examples are given and in each case we clearly show how to calculate the area with the calculator.

I didn't understand why we did the things in AP Stats regarding bell curves, but this video helped me so much to grasp the full idea

I have one doubt..we know that continuous distribution can't have prob at a point. then what sense does pdf makes other than acting as function to find area under the curve for CDF

The pdf serves merely to get the bell curve’s equation.
The cdf then allows you to calculate the area under the pdf’s curve 😊

      Hi Ali,
The form 5 syllabus is quite vast :)
I do have quite a few tutorials on content that’s part of the syllabus.
Maybe I can start creating a playlist; could be useful :)

      Dear Ramya,
It's the teacher software foe the TI Nspire CX.
I purchased it directly from the texas instruments site.
      Hope that helps 😃
