Truly entertaining moment. Since I’ve never seen the show & just started watching “Catfish” compilation videos on RUclips , I thought I was imagining things seeming off/weird/wrong with Taylor. Nev shutting it down was pure vindication!! I thought I was WAY OFF for thinking it BS ! As I was without any contextual info, I thought I was wrong thinking it fake from when the couple came out & Taylor spoke with such ease, familiarity, & lack of ire (or convincing emotion).

He's definitely one of the better catfish victims. He was so chill and respectful, more concerned about the other guy getting help than about what happened. I think people that set up fake catfish stories, just to be on TV, they should all have to foot the bill for the expense of you and your team and production costs to come out there. Such BS that they do this to you guys when there's real more interesting stories to watch. I think that there should be some thing in your contract to come do the story, that if they lie about it, that they will have to cover the costs to be there, because I know it isn't cheap.

Meh the whole point of the show is entertainment. They still get an entertaining episode out of the deal. Production doesn’t give a shit if it’s fake or not. Producers aren’t in it to help people, they’re in it to make a television show and make money whether it’s fake or not. Production probably knows things are fake long before the hosts do, I’m willing to bet some stories are hired actors as well. Its just how tv works, Money is the goal, not helping people.
