Courtney and Shaylee I appreciate and love that you are countering these toxic ideas for dating and long-term relationships. I for one know how a true couple acts as my mom and dad showed me. My parents showed me being together you are a team. My mom was strong woman (grew up in orphanage) and my dad was a gentle, compassion, principled man who stuck by his beliefs. Never did my mother put my father down for any of his faults or mistakes and vice versa. My parents would actually "Apologize" to each other. I know this is debatable but my mom no matter how mad she always told my dad she love him and kissed him at night because she didn't like to go to bed angry. I saw my mother's wisdom grow as did my dad's in their relationship. Also, when my father got injured on railroad - he was pinched between two cars, for the first time in my life I saw my mother cry. She didn't know if my dad would make it and she was lost. He took 3 transfusions of blood from the back injury (fused back), but he pulled through...all that time and my mother never left his side. I could tell my mom was strong, but she loved her man so much. She took up mantle of job earning because my dad's settlement was still processing from injury due to fault on railroad. She stuck with her man and never ever made him feel inadequate for not being able to work..my dad worked hard to walk again which he was told he wouldn't be able to do. Fast forward I was enlisted in military when I got the call that my mother was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and while they were able to remove it somehow it spread to lymph nodes and she was in hospice. I was also told my dad was carrying her to bathroom she was so sick..mind you my dad has fused back. My dad was by her side when I arrived holding her hand. With tears flowing down his face. Unfortunately, I had to go back to my base as my leave ran out at which time cancer had moved to my mom's brain. I got a call from a nurse at hospice in tears. Saying we are sorry to tell you your mother has passed. I was heartbroken and sad. But I asked her how my father was doing, and she started sobbing a bit more and told me my mother passed and hour ago and my father would not let go of her hand and that all the nurses there were sobbing because they didn't have heart to pull him away. She asked how soon I could be there as she told me he will need me now more than ever. I was on my home thanks to my military leaders shortly after phone call. But this is what love and companionship is..it isn't a game. You find a partner because you are a team to face challenges together. It's actually a good way to filter out the less-desirables, for sure. In my experience, girls find it weird until you explain that you just don't have time to mess with that stuff, and how you think it's toxic.
I think it’s a perfectly fine thing ! And honestly a massive green flag for me as I don’t use it too much either for the same reasons. It shows you are aware of yourself and what your priorities are. Sure, some think it’s weird but that’s them basing social media use on their perceived importance of it, and alot of the time that thinking is very shallow. Girls really DO NOT realize how easy they have it on dating apps. I've had one girlfriend for a year in my entire 9 years of adulthood. The nine months that I've been single now, I've had zero matches across all apps.
@@beegs771 maybe...I think it's just that 90%of men will go after 90% of women, while 90% of women will go after only the top 10% of men. Therefore they have all the choice on dating apps and can easily sift through everyone who isn't the top 10% of attractiveness.
@@kaytee7607 dang...that's wild. I made a fake profile with a random guys pics once, just to test and see if my phone was broken or something. With no goal to catfish, just to swipe and see. I got more matches than I ever had in my life in that one night. Girls even messaged me first. Kinda sad, so I deleted it the next morning.
With the sports one, no highlights and talking about it are not the same. Some matches are once a generation or even lifetime. Picking a restaurant where it is shown can work but if she is not interested in it, she will want all of his attention. Best thing is to schedule the date for non gametime hours.
Thank you both for making this video! The “eye or an eye” comment was key point in dating, not very many people understand how much it hurts yourself worth, and others.
Funny thing about Tinder and other dating apps are that people actually think that they work the way they are supposed to. They are a business and the business is not you finding a partner, its you staying using the app ot paying for the ”gold version”. It doesent show you all of the users, it has a very effective and manipulative algorithm behind the profiles it shows to you. If you are a male and over 30 and you actually want to find someone - paying is the only way you can even have a chance.
Why was it ever cool to manipulate anyone period?! This whole "power struggle" or "power dynamic" is just fricken pathetic, exhausting, and a huge waste of time. A huge reason why I quit dating apps cause of it being too damn competitive
@@CourtneyRyan and I did my best to find someone on dating apps but you and Shaylee hit the nail on saying that too many use it like a video game and too many are freakin scared to put themselves out there

Hey Courtney, I see these videos you made with her were of a single day but I would love to see more videos with her, and I guess a lot more people would too. Hope you will do it in the future.
Your content has been helpful in a number of ways. Its not just about the advice, it makes you think about dating differently, you start thinking about what you really want in another person, instead of trying to "achieve" things others expect of you. Keep it up!
14:23 The look Shaylee gave Courtney at the end when she was taking about creeping on guys pages, and said "we don't do it as much" 😄 All good Shaylee, I love the honesty. Great content ladies.
Thank you for reading some of these tick tocks with just words written down in the video because some people don't do that and they expect us to read them and sometimes the video is too small for us to read the comments that are left in these tiktoks
Fun fact about the word tick tock that was technically the first robot in literature before the word robot ever existed in the sequel 8th book of The Wizard Of Oz called Ozma Of Oz by the way if you're curious that book came out in 1914 and the word robot wasn't used until like the 1920s.
2:27 "It is so much easier for women". YESSS ! The difference between men and women on dating apps is about 1/100 (observed with my own eyes on several occasions, for men and women of comparable attractiveness)
Courtney, I would love to see a video where you address the Red Pill/PUA premise of sex/relationships as an economic situation. NOT the actual money end, but how women allegedly go through the phase where a wink from a hot guy is enough to pique her interest/attraction and later want some poor schlub to accept her and her history without question (once her looks have faded) and pay for her lifestyle while receiving relatively little in return and certainly no genuine attraction. This is a belief I struggle with, as while I know not all women are like this I have seen several textbook examples confirming this pattern.
Hi Courtney, I just wanted to address the reaction at the 12:40 mark where the girl caught her boyfriend cheating and gets back at him. You said women shouldn’t lower themselves to do all of that but coming from a man’s perspective if she did all of those things it would be much worse. Not only for the man but for her as well. First of all, at that point it’s just straight up revenge on her part. Second, if you mess with a man’s finances and then ALSO mess with his mental stability by breaking up with him…well that’s how women get killed or get put in the hospital. I completely agree that cheating is wrong but I think you’re not taking into account what a man could do if he wants his own revenge. It just wouldn’t be good for anyone. Lastly, thanks for the content. It is appreciated.
Definitely a fact that "Girls get so many more matches no matter what they look like". Made a video on this a few days ago. The results were crazy for a below average girl smh
@@CourtneyRyan the Latin unicornis rhinoceros is where the word unicorn came from. People call a binoceros a rhino and they too don't know unicorns are still among us. They're just not any bit horse like. Just for the sake of science 🙃🙃😉
902 minutes in, that's why I don't do dating apps anymore! I had to many I meet on them only to find out they where in relationships and wanting to cheat and or to clingy and needy. But none who took it serious to want a give and take equally! Sadly you two are the rare type of girls left!
Something the toxic girls may not realize is that those toxic and manipulative behaviors only work on immature, low quality men who lack self-control and emotional stability. High quality men don't chase, we don't get obsessed, we don't overanalyze your mixed signals. We move on to other women who have the emotional maturity not to play those games.
Love these types of videos. I would love to see one of these videos that is a little longer and where you bring both Shaylee and Maria at the same time. From the videos I've seen, Shayla and Maria seem to share important traits but also have some differences that are refreshing as well.
Hey Courtney & Shaylee! I really enjoy your videos ❤️ you are also so adorable and have a very sweet voice 🥰 and it’s so refreshing to listen the other women that I can relate and want to better myself too! Keep up the amazing work! ❤️❤️
Lol thanks for the romanticizing reminder, started seeing a girl friend and we were taking cute pics and she was self grooming and all but she told me about how she is after alcohol... I like a drink from time to time but I probably won't bring her around liquor if we get to dating and etc. 😅!
The saddest thing about people who are toxic to get back at other toxic people is that the toxic ones usually aren’t emotionally invested and aren’t hurt by it. The ones that end up getting hurt are the ones who are trying to be genuine
You know what, I've never really thanked you for these videos you make. And it's been quite a while, since I've subscribed to your channel. So, Thank You Hurricane Ryan!

I rather talk to girls in person tho. It's much easier now for me. Great video you two 🙌🏽🌻🌻
I think it’s okay to go through their Instagram if you’ve never meet them and they are a complete stranger. You gotta screen people before you get caught alone with them
@@germanwizbang6250I’ve never met someone on a dating app without socials. Ultimately I think dating apps are still pretty risky even now that it’s becoming normalized. You still don’t know this person and they are a complete stranger. (Unless of course you matched with someone you know) I think screening them and having a good amount of evidence that they are a legit person with friends, a job, or going to school is just a basic safety precaution. I’ve gone on a date with some creepy women with fake socials and they ended up trying to sell themselves to me. So the risk still applies but it’s been less likely. It was not fun time.
@@_GOING_DARK_ I suppose that's where you and I differ. I understand there may be some decent people on dating apps, but there are so few that it's not worth the headache to find them. I'd rather never meet the decent dating app people if it means I can avoid all the toxicity that exists there. But at the same time, what you've said about screening a person kind of leaves me out to dry. I can be secure in the knowledge that I'm a decent person, but no one else can, and the fact that I don't have any socials means no one can figure that out for themselves, *UNLESS* they take a leap of faith and actually try to get to know me. At this rate though I may just have to accept no one will want to give me a chance because they can't stalk me online
Add a google image search to that. I've run into scammers and sex workers advertising their wares in the "dating" apps. Scammers will steal photos from IG models
The 'woman advantage' has existed since the dawn of mankind. Even in the 1920s through today the top singles/pick up nightclubs have 'women in first and for free, men wait and pay'. Another thing that hasn't changed- top guys will always 'rule' over women, even '10' women. The women's rights movements hate this pesky fact....too bad, still true all day every day.
No longer dating cause I’ve came across 10 different chicks , 4 of them had a bf behind my back . So I’m just keep it solo for while , been through enough relationship we’re they were all toxic convinced as much I stay celibate and focus on myself. I still attract demon energy women
I made a conscious effort to have more care and control when it comes to social media. It’s fun in one sense, but one requires discernment skills to ensure who or what they follow or consume says to potential partners.
11:44 if he wanted to watch a game then as the gf you shouldn’t have been going to brunch. If football is something he really likes to watch and you make plans ignoring that fact then that’s on you. Not saying that you should be on your phone during a date but if you’re planning dates on football time then that’s on you.
No guys don’t creep at all I knew nothing about who all my ex’s dated or went on vaca with but everyone of them knew everything about me And we’re labeled as the creeps
Excelent video. Spot on both of you. I dont use dating apps, used to had one but not for a while, simply because of those attention seekers. Photoshoped photos or 15 year old photos. They just want free stuff from you. Also those fake accounts. Even on IG I refuse to follow those kind of people in general. They just want attention eventhough they already have a boyfriend/husband. That female with...ahem...oversized parts for me at least is a big "No thank you". Its just weird and unatractive. I like things normal and real, not plastic and bloated like a caricature from a comic section in a newspaper.
Regarding watching the game on the mobile device when he has company. No person, male or female should be attached to the mobile device when they are out for lunch/dinner when they should be engaged in dialog with their guest. Also, don't belittle another person's interests by saying that all they need to do is watch the highlights later. I am not a FBBH (Football, Baseball, Basketball, Hockey) fan but I am sensitive enough to understand that just because I am not interested in their activity that they should have the same level of interest that I have and that watching the highlights is equivalent to watching the whole game.
Lots of class for Courtney and Shaylee. Would like to comment on the paying for the trip one. I would say first should be a conversation, yes if a guys inviting you somewhere on a trip he should be a majority payer, but over all just in the beginning have a conversation about it. I for one would yeah be the treater but if there's an added incidental that you had or came up with that wasn't part of the trip just have a convo about it.
Courtney: Sanity. Courtney and Shaylee: Stereo sanity. Random thoughts... What qualities would you look for in someone you had to be handcuffed to for 10 solid years? Start with those qualities when selecting a long-term partner.
For me personally, whenever I see something that's a Redflag and I need to avoid her, I'm starting to have this hard battle between myself and my feelings. But I think that's a sign that I'm growing but still uncertainty and doubts come in the way. Let me know what your guys opinions is... and Courtney or Shaylee
Courtney, absolutely correct re dating apps. for men. Basically, you just write messages which are ignored, even when trying to tailor them to a particular profile. No doubt there are decent women waiting to be contacted, but it is needle in the haystack, and for an old and ugly guy like me, really disheartening, demeaning, undermining and depressing-I usually last about 6 weeks and then close the account because of stress.
Thank you for your videos!! I have definitely learned a lot from them. Spent 5 years with a girl who couldn't even tell you what month my birthday was. But could recall ever mistake I made. Maybe someday I will find someone who is worth getting to know and try to settle down.
14:03 - Oh, you have no idea! We all do it, it became parts of modern culture now that with social networks it's easy but some guys have the potential to be private detectives. One time I was only texting with a girl, I told a friend of mine only her name and that they were from the same country and he found everything about her, full name, hometown, what she did for a living. One thing about it is that today people don't keep their social networks "clean", they only add but never remove stuff so they leave pictures with exes and it becomes a bit weird, like I have friends who have been together for years and live together and in their facebook accounts they still have photos kissing their exes while they were on vacation for their anniversary with extremely cheesy descriptions like "I can't wait to grow old with you
Prof Sam Vaknin spoke about this toxic behaviour and says basically these woman have adopted behaviours of toxic masculinity. The irony. According to him the research is showing that there’s now also marginally more female narcs than men for the first time. I think we all just need to be mindful of our values and spend our time with people that share them.
For me, an "ick" refers to two different things. Either, truly bad or inconsiderate behavior. Or, when a woman has shallow characteristic (think voice pattern, laugh, physical tic, how they play with their hair, etc.) that reminds me of an ex where thing went bad. It's nothing inherently malicious and certainly nothing they can control or would have knowledge of vis a vis my experiences, and therefore NOT a dealbreaker. However, I just zone out for a couple seconds in a flashback lol. Then, bring myself back and tell myself, "It's OK, it's not the same girl as before".
When it comes to trips that requires flying and hotels. Only pay for my half of the trip. Like my ticket, my half of the hotel room. But activities I don't mind paying for or food.
About following a game on your phone the entire time 11:08 i know what a young woman told a friend of mine when he was working in a cafe. "Real men doesnt follow the football game but are focusing on their girlfriend" She was probably sick and tired of her boyfriend spending hours in front of the TV instead of spending quality time with her.

@@beegs771 maybe...I think it's just that 90%of men will go after 90% of women, while 90% of women will go after only the top 10% of men. Therefore they have all the choice on dating apps and can easily sift through everyone who isn't the top 10% of attractiveness.
@@beegs771 not to neglect that the ratio of men to women on dating apps is SO large.
I made one just to see the type of women in my area with a black screen pic and got two matches. Lol
Congratulations on your engagement Courtney!! I hope you two have a long and happy marriage and best of luck in wedding planning too! 😘💖❤️
You’re so sweet, thank you so much! ❤️
No wonder most relationships don't last. Most people don't have the maturity nor loyalty to remain committed and respectful.
Thx for the advice @Courtney & Shaylee
Why was it ever cool to manipulate anyone period?! This whole "power struggle" or "power dynamic" is just fricken pathetic, exhausting, and a huge waste of time.
A huge reason why I quit dating apps cause of it being too damn competitive
Agreed!!
@@CourtneyRyan and I did my best to find someone on dating apps but you and Shaylee hit the nail on saying that too many use it like a video game and too many are freakin scared to put themselves out there
My buddy met his wife in a dating site. It sucks that the girls that makes me most noise doesn't really have much to say. Keep the content coming.
Hey love the vids also wanted to point out that I really like when you mention what the commenters are saying on the tiktok. So many people overlook this but it’s really critical to see how the audience responds to the post. Keep it up!
Hey Courtney, I see these videos you made with her were of a single day but I would love to see more videos with her, and I guess a lot more people would too. Hope you will do it in the future.
Absolutely! More to come. Will be having some other girls on as well 🥰
@@CourtneyRyan Thank You😌
The more like minded women are seen saying this the more influence you have.
Congratulations on engagement Courtney.
Thank you so much ❤️
@@CourtneyRyan you’re welcome 😊
i love your videos they bring me clarity cause sometimes people out there are just ridiculous.
Your content has been helpful in a number of ways. Its not just about the advice, it makes you think about dating differently, you start thinking about what you really want in another person, instead of trying to "achieve" things others expect of you. Keep it up!
Thank you so much! Glad you’re here 😊
🎉Congratulations, Courtney and Teddy!💕
YESSS ! The difference between men and women on dating apps is about 1/100
(observed with my own eyes on several occasions, for men and women of comparable attractiveness)
Hi Courtney,
I just wanted to address the reaction at the 12:40 mark where the girl caught her boyfriend cheating and gets back at him.
It’s so true!
Sunday evening 16 January 2022. Thanks, Courtney and Shallee. Take care and all the best.
“You can check the highlights later” best advice for many guys out there. The game isn’t going anywhere.
This one was like a breathe of fresh air
Just call your show 'Two Unicorns'!
Hahaha 🦄
@@CourtneyRyan the Latin unicornis rhinoceros is where the word unicorn came from. People call a binoceros a rhino and they too don't know unicorns are still among us. They're just not any bit horse like. Just for the sake of science 🙃🙃😉
Your point of view is very good 😊 keep on doing what you're doing videos are very helpful Courtney Ryan 😊
902 minutes in, that's why I don't do dating apps anymore! I had to many I meet on them only to find out they where in relationships and wanting to cheat and or to clingy and needy. But none who took it serious to want a give and take equally! Sadly you two are the rare type of girls left!
I wish there were more girls like you two around my area.
Just look for dudes who are cross dressers.
@@Filthy_Larry no thanks
Congratulations on your engagement!!! Thanks for the decent content. 🙏🏾🙌🏾🎊🎉🥳
I think, you should make a video on guys giving advice on tik tok for dating!
Awww I’m so glad! This makes me so happy to hear. Thanks for being here ❤️🥰
I love this type of videos, your friend is super cool
Lol thanks for the romanticizing reminder, started seeing a girl friend and we were taking cute pics and she was self grooming and all but she told me about how she is after alcohol... I like a drink from time to time but I probably won't bring her around liquor if we get to dating and etc. 😅!
Just be careful. Alcohol often times does not change you as people think. It makes you more of what you already are.
Congratulations to both you and Teddy on your engagement!
Thank you ❤️
The saddest thing about people who are toxic to get back at other toxic people is that the toxic ones usually aren’t emotionally invested and aren’t hurt by it. The ones that end up getting hurt are the ones who are trying to be genuine
I love these types of reviews videos .it's more understandable than other videos with Courtney only
You know what, I've never really thanked you for these videos you make. And it's been quite a while, since I've subscribed to your channel. So, Thank You Hurricane Ryan!
Thank you for being here! Appreciate you 🥰
It's great to see Shaylee back. Yeah these girls I saw in these first few tik tok videos just scream insecurity and i would be very leary to date them. I guess imma have to see a girl tik tok if i starting her now haha 😄 Aldo if i ask girl out; I'm paying. It's only right ya know. Anyways i appreciate you holding both genders accountable. I rather talk to girls in person tho. It's much easier now for me. Great video you two 🙌🏽🌻🌻
I think it’s okay to go through their Instagram if you’ve never meet them and they are a complete stranger. You gotta screen people before you get caught alone with them
What if they don't have any socials for you to creep on before hand? Does that automatically rule them out?
At this rate though I may just have to accept no one will want to give me a chance because they can't stalk me online
bro, you can't "Screen" a chick for "Is she gonna leave me in 10 - 20 years when I need her the most....and take half my sh**" 😂😂 😂😂 😂😂 😂😂
Add a google image search to that. I've run into scammers and sex workers advertising their wares in the "dating" apps. Scammers will steal photos from IG models
Hey Courtney! Congratulations on your engagement 🎉
Thank you so much 🥰
UGG. I’m so grateful to have met, David, and married my wife before the advent of the Internet and social media.
“Friends with similar….HoBbIEZ”- Shaylee😂😂😂😂
You should do more videos with shaylee it’s nice to see another girl’s perspective along with yours
The 'woman advantage' has existed since the dawn of mankind. Even in the 1920s through today the top singles/pick up nightclubs have 'women in first and for free, men wait and pay'. Another thing that hasn't changed- top guys will always 'rule' over women, even '10' women. The women's rights movements hate this pesky fact....too bad, still true all day every day.
yea, but men weren't always cowards like we are today......we used to slap people for acting up....regardless of what's hanging between their legs 😂😂
Very true.
No longer dating cause I’ve came across 10 different chicks , 4 of them had a bf behind my back . So I’m just keep it solo for while , been through enough relationship we’re they were all toxic convinced as much I stay celibate and focus on myself. I still attract demon energy women
I think Gandhi said it best, "An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind."
Grown people on tiktok, we need to open up our eyes and stop the manipulation from this social media crap
Hello Courtney you have very mature mindset when it comes dating advice. I learn a lot from watching this video. Keep up the good work.
I made a conscious effort to have more care and control when it comes to social media. It’s fun in one sense, but one requires discernment skills to ensure who or what they follow or consume says to potential partners.
your friends make up is on point ! very beautiful
Y’all dropped these👑👑
God I think I’m falling in love.
I'm so guilty on the creeping part
11:44 if he wanted to watch a game then as the gf you shouldn’t have been going to brunch. If football is something he really likes to watch and you make plans ignoring that fact then that’s on you. Not saying that you should be on your phone during a date but if you’re planning dates on football time then that’s on you.
No guys don’t creep at all
I knew nothing about who all my ex’s dated or went on vaca with but everyone of them knew everything about me
And we’re labeled as the creeps
Like this Chelsea, on first commit. So common for people to project there own insecurities, anger, plan bs onto others. Definition of toxic.
Courtney: Sanity. Courtney and Shaylee: Stereo sanity.
Random thoughts... What qualities would you look for in someone you had to be handcuffed to for 10 solid years? Start with those qualities when selecting a long-term partner.
Tinder can be a nightmare for good men to stand out. Most women have no idea.
Hey Courtney, love the content it’s helped out a lot. Thank you.
More videos with Shaylee please!
Another enlightening video. Thanks Courtney.
Girls should just stat dating themselves hahaha
Some of them already do. Lol.
They might not like themselves...!
Eff no.
FIVE years???
14:03 - Oh, you have no idea! We all do it, it became parts of modern culture now that with social networks it's easy but some guys have the potential to be private detectives. One time I was only texting with a girl, I told a friend of mine only her name and that they were from the same country and he found everything about her, full name, hometown, what she did for a living.
One thing about it is that today people don't keep their social networks "clean", they only add but never remove stuff so they leave pictures with exes and it becomes a bit weird, like I have friends who have been together for years and live together and in their facebook accounts they still have photos kissing their exes while they were on vacation for their anniversary with extremely cheesy descriptions like "I can't wait to grow old with you
Need to catch up on this essential content 👏
Prof Sam Vaknin spoke about this toxic behaviour and says basically these woman have adopted behaviours of toxic masculinity. The irony. According to him the research is showing that there’s now also marginally more female narcs than men for the first time. I think we all just need to be mindful of our values and spend our time with people that share them.
You guys should do a video going over how cool grills are. Awesome video though! ✔️
"men play video games, women have dating apps" lol very telling
thank god nobody ever posted my 2011 vacation pictures on the internet
:D
15:10 she paid for everything?LOL
Also don't date girls that wear to much makeup
About following a game on your phone the entire time 11:08 i know what a young woman told a friend of mine when he was working in a cafe.
"Real men doesnt follow the football game but are focusing on their girlfriend"
She was probably sick and tired of her boyfriend spending hours in front of the TV instead of spending quality time with her.
Killing it Courtney
Thank you! ❤️
So glad that I don't use Tik-Tok...
