This video came in handy. Mine engagement broke 5months ago and i felt i was gonna die being my one and only relationship of almost 5years. But I'm grateful to God i survived the lowest moment. A broken relationship indeed is better than a broken marriage.

I can totally relate to this story because same thing happened to me and I noticed I started losing myself, I compromised on a lot of things and there was so much uncertainty as to if I’ll be happy if I go on with it or if it was the will of God for my life. The decision to end the engagement wasn’t easy but every time I look back, I’m thankful, happy and proud that I made that decision.
My gosh. This story is literally answers to prayers. I had a dream of being in a similar situation (being engaged to someone I was clearly unsure of). In waking life, I'm not even in a relationship. As I was praying about it, I stumbled on your video--- literally minutes after. And it further clarified my dream for me. So while you might think this is random tea for Team Solutions (which it is😉), your timing was perfectly ordered by God, for me. Thank you😍. God is kind!🙏🙌

I walked away from a 7 year old relationship 12 years ago..God gave me the insight to count the loss and move on..That was the greatest decision of my life..There is no fear in love..when you feel fear..run.leave for your life
The truth is that when the relationship feels unsure, stressing then it is not the right one. If u feel you are doing too much and there is little reciprocation,,runnnnnn. I now look back and I am happy I left such relationships

Like you said mama, family approval is important, even though am no longer in a relationship, looking back after my break up this year Feb, close to 4 years in the relationship, there are things I see now that I was blind to and I started seeing things from my mum's perspective too which I once ignored..I once thought I wouldn't cope with the breakup but am doing fine now and trying to work on myself to be better before the right person comes along... I am 24 n I have been dating this guy who is 30 for two years. We have planned marriage but watching this video gives me the answers I have been looking for. I am in a relationship that I don't feel happy at all because I have to always go against my values for this person who doesn't appreciate or do the same thing for me. Just like u said we say we are in love but it's more than love for me because apart from the fact that we are in a relationship I don't feel that joy like most ladies when they are planning on marriage I thought it's just me but hearing ur story made me realise not wanting to go ahead with it. In all honesty, it doesn’t matter how long you have been in a relationship to break it off! I was once in a relationship for 4 years and didn’t end in marriage! The major thing for me was that my heart and spirit was not at rest even though I was seemingly in love! Then I came across the bible verse that says perfect love casts out all fear! That was the rhema moment for me! I got the courage to leave!
Marriage is a lifetime decision which you prayerfully have to go into! I pray you make the right decision according to God’s purpose!

The unrest and uncertainty were signs...sounds like you didn't have peace of mind concerning the relationship....and that's all the confirmation that you need to not go ahead. I recently experienced something like this. And I also made the same prayer, 'Lord if he is not your will, take him away' and He did. I felt bad a bit but I trust that God's best is on His way to me 😊.

How did God answer this prayer for you? This is my present prayer but i'm scared i might be blocking the answer. He's a really good person and his family is lovely and they like me, i just don't get why i feel uneasy about the relationship... Is it because i tend to over think things or it's a sign?
@@kemiabiodun1306 Hi Kemi. My case was almost similar to yours, only that I didn't meet his family. I was also feeling uncertain but I thought it was because we hadn't dated for long. So I kept praying and just waited it out. As time went on, first, I started to notice some things about him that I wasn't comfortable with, secondly, the feelings just started to wane, and thirdly, he started to loose interest (this is someone that was very serious about marrying me form the start o). We eventually broke it off after about 9 months of dating.
I'd advise that you keep praying and don't bother about time going. Tell God to show you who he (intending spouse) truly is. That's part of the prayer I made. The fact that you are feeling uneasy is not something overlook.
I'll also make a short prayer for you right now.

Actually we haven't dated for long either and certainly I've seen some things that i actually i'm not comfortable with and i spoke to him about it and he's open minded about learning and unlearning different traits so this puts be back to square one of maybe i'm just over thinking, he's actually putting effort to be better so why am i feeling uneasy.
