Life skills education right there !!! Not just confined to batting but those tips shall potentially benefit everyone out there who has a dream to make it big in his area of interest !!!
Thanks alot kev! I started cricket at the age of 11 and stopped around 15! Now im 23 and i wanna go pro.. i was a very good batsman back then.. do u think im too old to start cricket again.. i wanna play for my country
@@joequark5969 it must be your head position. Check out some videos about keeping your head still and moving it towards the ball. It could also be your mindset. You may be looking for instance, to cover drive every ball outside off with a straight bat. Look at a batsman like labuschagne. Look how he struggled playing with a vertical bat out 4-5th stump and tried to cover drive everything. Now he either lashed out at it, or uses a vertical bat and runs it down to third man. It's about finding your own technique. Go right now and watch different Ayers play balls outside off. Look at labuschagne, kohli and smith. They all have different approaches so it's about finding what's right for you. You could also try and hit half volleys slightly out side off for a straight drive using your feet, like how sachin used to. But first check how your head position it.
@@skyfrost6481 thanks a lot, yeah I’m pretty sure it is due to one of these things and I often get frustrated and lash out to try and reach it, I’m pretty sure it’s because all my cover drives I attempt are with vertical bat and I haven’t got my head close enough to the ball to attempt a smith type technique
Hlo sir l am following all your videos tricks and it helped to improve my batting and I wanted to achieve big .pls upload more and more videos sir When I look to hit 6 I forgot to hit the ball close to my eyes then I got out when I played close to my eyes I forgot to swing the bat with full power What I am gonna do to correct my mistake??
