Maddox, Glavine and Smoltz, one of the best rotations in history.
Maddux is the greatest pitcher of all time in my estimation. If he got you down in the count , that at bar was over. Period.
Maddux is the GOAT pitcher. He pitched during the steroid era and dominated. That says a lot.
Maddox is the GOAT. His numbers in the long ball HGH/steroid era confirm that.
@@MichSports except when tony gwynn faced him
@@adamleandro6673 man Gwen was a next level hitter.....he was so fun to watch.
Sticky stuff Convo starts at 6:05.
What a great team that was great pitching staff
@Angel Josue 17 Doesn't matter.
@Angel Josue 17 one more than you have
Lets not forget Mark Wohlers.
"Smoltzy was the best, at getting tee times" - Tom Glavine
5:09 one of my favorite videos ever was Bobby told Glavine to retaliate and throw at Dale Murphy. Glavine threw 4 easily avoidable softies, got thrown out, and angrily walked off the field. Bobby’s oops face was priceless.
One thing about that staff is those guys were all professionals. Reliable, focused, and consistent. Shame they only won one championship I believe.
The reason that current pitchers probably won't win 300 games is that even the best ones barely pitch 200 innings a season, go more than six innings a game, or make more than 30 starts a season.
Mark Lemke would have been the MVP in 1991. As proclaimed by Deion Sanders himself.
Yes! But they was referring to the 1992 World Series against the Blue Jays. Deion batted .567
69th Pick in the 1984 NHL Draft Tom Glavine
Nice
My favorite pitcher of all time. Being a lefty like Tom just made him my biggest hero. He also got the W in game 7 of the 95 World Series. Glad u mentioned Avery, so understand under the Atlanta big 3. Tom, John, Greg, and Steve that’s 90s baseball to me.
Game 6! Braves won the Series 4-2
Why can't Leo Mazzone be in the Hall of Fame?
Damn... wish this was Ryan Leaf talking to Glavine.
Mr. Glavine:
No more 300 game winners perhaps because a lot of these kids are playing (THROWING) all year long? Travel here, travel there. Throw, throw, throw... I don't get it.
Possibly the best
Great to hear from Tom, he was so steady throughout his career. Did not have those big down years like many do today. Anyway, if pitchers wanna cheat, let the batters use aluminum bats.
Or steal signs
I get what you are trying to say but aluminum bats would be straight up dangerous
Are you gonna a tualky talk about baseball or some stupid celebrity golf game that no odg cares about?
I loved that segment thank you
Hater. The golf story was great
