Saw your link to the build....I will be looking into that I do have a few Robotech (from the US) models. BUT This video, I could use for other build....its just that I build, for now, 1/700 scale. I will check your channel...See what I can glean....teacher! :)

Arduino is actually very easy for non-engineer types like me, it all starts with blinking an LED (check Arduino tutorial links in Description).
Thanks for the encouragement. But this project was about a thousand hours of pain. Not something I would want to do ever again. I love building for others, but something a bit less complex.
@@arbitScaleModels Everything from the hydraulics and the linkage that support the JBDs are all preset to the same angle no matter what type of winged aircraft is launched. You can also raise and lower them one at a time.
@@powertech25 I took the lazy route and raised all three at the same time. I tried a lot of ideas, but couldn't figure out a gear to synchronize them one at a time.
You read my mind. I figured, if the ancients could do it, I can too. Except the Greeks and Egyptians were doing stuff far far more difficult than this.

Or the control tower on board the ship? Heck, make the whole ship which this is just a part of. You might have a monster work of art

@@arbitScaleModels The Sony ZV-1 has a wide zoom angle and can approach up to 5 cm, making it suitable for shooting models. The Canon EOS M50 has to buy an interchangeable lens separately, and the shortest shooting distance of the zoom lens is shorter for the Sony ZV-1. I think the Sony ZV-1 is a good choice.

So much work went in to this I love it good job, and I absolutely love the opening to the vendor machine scene definitely a great addition to it.

Love it, I was an Aviation Boatswain Mate Equipment Operator on the USS Dwight D Eisenhower, I worked the jet blast deflector shields.
Awesome! Respect to someone from a real aircraft carrier. So how do you judge the speed and angle of my deflectors?

The only thing this is really missing is the iconic "thruster waggle" they do as part of the pre launch check. I was really anticipating the waggle!
