What would you say is the key to this kind of success? I have been able to greatly reduce my back pain, but burning hip and leg pain that develops during the night, every night for 20 years, I can't seem to get under control. I can't talk to my brain while I'm sleeping. Any suggestions?

My takeaway: Make living your life more important than fixing the symptoms..😊

Best takeaway. Not caring if I do xx with pain or uncomfortable emotions but I will do xx.

This video is EVERYTHING in a nutshell…. One of your all time BEST! I listened twice and checked off all the things I am practicing every day as I listened. It confirmed that I have the mindset and the actions and that I am well on my way to a Pain Free Me as evidenced by the way I consistently respond to uncomfortable sensations ….. this was a real confidence booster…. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I firmly believe your day will go the way the corners of your mouth turn. A smile is better than a frown which turns everything upside down. Been in both rodeos and know your mental state of mind is more powerful than your physical.

I am so sorry you are going through this right now. 😢 what I tell myself is, “This is just for right now, not for always”. I brought myself back from he brink of illness, it can be done. You can do this!

Love the idea of setting a positive expectation first thing in the morning. It counteracts the default ‘getting out of bed is gonna suck’ mindset and makes room for a different experience of giving attention to other (more positive and comfortable) things. Thank you for these wonderful videos; we’re all soothing ourselves into alignment with clarity and comfort, and these daily messages are very supportive! ❤

I always try to get up and out pre-dawn/dusk. It resets circadian systems. Also cold showers even if you just do 20 seconds to start with. I was struggling to get out but got going. Managed to go to church, the supermarket, charity shop and library. For good measure I went for a walk in the park, in the pouring rain, revitalised me. An hour at a time. One 👣forward. We can do this. Good days and better days are all I want.

You always know what I need to hear. Symptoms were a little colorful but I practiced what I’ve learned (like so oh this is what
It is… and it’s not a big deal… and was mostly calm all day. I was able to acknowledge and let it go. Same today for the most part. Thanks again. I keep thinking these responses (bfd and idgaf.) lol and freak out less and it see myself crashing out less. I am spending less time symptom sharing and focusing/talking about symptoms, or being fearful of them, but I’ve seen improvement in myself. Can’t thank you enough Dan the Man! You so put so much into this for us and have helped me a great deal. I’m slowly easing back into normal life with your guidance. Fear and worry is huge for
Me. I tell my loved ones I have to retrain my mind and body from my own negative conditioning

Hey Dan, I had a question. I had brain surgery in 2016. I developed headaches at that time and the surgery was a success (was a six month ordeal overall) and my headaches were gone. However in 2021 I developed a different kind of migraines and still have them. I don't have the same condition that led to the surgery back then, as I have scans to prove that and my pain is different. But what I get worried about is that the plate they put on my skull could be causing the issue. Does that sound feasible to you in your work with TMS and migraines? It sounds strange since it had been four years at that point but at the same time it keeps nagging at me

I had an interesting thing happened yesterday. I was hiking and it was a fairly flat trail so I didn’t have my hiking poles out. All of a sudden a new pain developed in my hamstring and I just thought oh it’ll go away. Then I almost tripped, and I said OK let’s get the hiking poles out. As soon as I got the poles out and started hiking with them, the pain in my hamstring went away. My brain felt safe.❤
