This is a very COMPLEX song, with a very complex poetry. Not everyone has the required knowledge to fully understand it. The narration is on 3 levels: the reality level, the symbolical level and the dream level. All 3 of them forced to converge by the incoming Death (in form of a beautiful indifferent and violent lady). The limit between this 3 levels merge to the point that the Dream (the one who is telling the story of this river overflow as if it was a living Incubus) blends with the water on the reality level, and that's how death take its place in the erotic dream of that poor woman.
