Caparezza is SO underestimated! Because he's actually a man of culture. Most of his songs are very complex. If you listen to his songs, always try to understand what's behind it. I recommend you "Vieni a ballare in puglia", "Vengo dalla luna", "Dalla parte del toro", "Argenti vive", "Compro Horror", all his music deserve!

Caparezza, pugliese come me, è un genio che gioca con le parole. È di una profondità sconvolgente in ogni frase che canta con apparente leggerezza. Voi ve lo immaginereste Caparezza sul palco di Sanremo ? Ecco , appunto...( e no, non fa testo la sua reale apparizione su quel palco decenni fa...apparizione di cui lui stesso ha fatto abiura)

He even won the Red Star, a cinema prize for best actors. Definitely Mr. Spacey is beloved here in Italy... mostly due to his nature of artist. We love artists.

Already told you man: you MUST listen "La Grande Opera" by Capa.. on the beginning of the 2nd verse he almost sound like eminem. You would love that song, trust me.

Wonderful idea suggest a song of Caparezza with english subtitles. There are little lose on translation but the means of the lyric was complete. Caparezza plays a lot with the words and he is not so easy to understand in some parts of his tracks for some native italians because he use citation, tricks and other stuff to have the right lyric. Caparezza use to have rap as musical style but it's not a rule because he used other styles. Some tracks can make you cry as "Una chiave", some others can make you dance as " vieni a ballare in puglia" or "fuori dal tunnel", some others are for nerds as "abiura di me" where the lyric is a continuos citation of videogames and the videoclip has continuos reference to the movie Tron. I love Caparezza!
Per chi non è italiano i testi di Caparezza potrebbero essere davvero ostici...non sono facilmente traducibili
