Most of those 'dorks' are playing alone, in their bedroom. Good tone for practice, is not necessarily good tone for a mix. Thus why hate for the Metal Zone, is equalled only by love for it.
Guitar players should be looking for unique sounds, not looking for generic sounds....you don't need expensive equipment for that. You need creativity...you know that stuff that comes out of us when we de calcify our pineal gland.. open your chakras.🌈🎸 and discover why you couldnt write songs and lyrics..after opening mine by accident (smoking weed), I began writing lyrics everyday, before that I didn't even own a pen and writing paper..🤣
Finally I found a demo that is not hundred years old. Thank you very much. Nux and behringer are a bit oldschool-ish i suppose, Fab is odd, Joyo does sound good for most of the range tho
Finally someone using them in front of the amp! Almost everyone else is reviewing it with the return and I'm so confused because all my dirt pedals are going into a Behringer TM300 Thank you man!! Subscribed!!

with my 15 watts marshall amp the danelectro fab metal sounds really good..i´ve tried the behringer pedal but it didn´t sound as good as it does with the fab metal pedal.. :)
I use the FAB metal for bass. It's very midrangey. I can only use it for finger stuff. It has a nice tone for that; I'd have a hard time finding a replacement alternative.
I think the Joyo is the way to go. The mid control makes it a pretty versatile it seems. I have a Joyo US Dream(Suhr Riot) and it’s an unbelievably good sounding pedal but I do wish it had the mid control.
I use the Fab Metal and it’s not bad only you can get a hum with certain guitars unfortunately. For some reason I get a hum with my Gibson Les Paul but my Ibanez JS100 is clean as all hell!!
Behringer wins easily to me. But big minus on the plasticy enclosure. What would you recommend for the slighty higher price high gain distortion pedal? Really nice vid and playing!
@@guitarofdestiny Nope, ironically it modeled after the DOD grunge pedals from the Jason Lamb series, so it's not really a metal pedal at all. JHS did a video on the Danelectro Fab series, very weird pedals I recommend you watch their video.
The Joyo is available for $15 - $20 as the Kmise, or Saphue 'Crunch Distortion'(opened up my Saphue and it even says Pocket Metal on the board). I think its even an original circuit and not just a clone( not to be confused with the Joyo Crunch Distortion, which is a MI Crunch Box clone). I tried and got rid of several distortions ranging from ~$25 to over $50 and have been pretty faithful to the Saphue Crunch I paid $14 and free 2 day shipping for, from Amazon. Price almost doubled, but Id still pay it.
I have bright pickups so I would choose the Behringer... Behringer fuzz is the ultimate cheap pedal. It sounds amazing, it has two fuzz styles and a boost. The fuzz sounds really good with any guitar and amp. I cannot beat the sound of the Behringer fuzz..if you don't have a fuzz pedal buy the Behringer. So cheap and so much fun.

These pedals sound good because this dude knows how to setup the tone, not like some dorks who set treble on max and scoop all the mids out.

Lol I do that

Nice playing very tight and articulate! I want all of em!
Finally I found a demo that is not hundred years old. Thank you very much.
Nux and behringer are a bit oldschool-ish i suppose, Fab is odd, Joyo does sound good for most of the range tho
NUX sounds clear and defined.
Thanks for a nice comparison.
Pleasantly surprised by the Behringer! Nux and Joyo sounded good as well. Great playing!
Behringers sound totally fucking epic! I think they're better than the Boss pedals they clone.
Couldn’t have said it better
I have the FAB metal. It's insanely bright. I prefer the Behringers. The heavy distortion pedal is great for bass guitar.
I liked the behringer the most :)
I love how precise and clean your playing is!
I think im gonna get the Joyo, thanks for showing them off🤘

Sounds like the FAB would be good for some raw Black Metal
yeah yeah its badass
@@walangpasok9421
The Pocket Metal + Tube Screamer, is vicious
The FAB was the pedals back in the early 2000s. Also the line 6 spyder was the amp, it didn't age well though lol
Loved how the NUX and JOYO sounded. I might be wrong but FAB sounded like Metalzone to me.
Joyo and nux sound the best!
with my 15 watts marshall amp the danelectro fab metal sounds really good..i´ve tried the behringer pedal but it didn´t sound as good as it does with the fab metal pedal.. :)
I have no idea how you made that Behringer sound good, but you did. Great job. I like the Joyo the best. Great videos lately. Thanks
Thank you for your kind words! Honestly this particular behringer wasn't too bad....compared to the Heavy Metal and Ultra Metal Models.
the "heavy distortion" is their copy of the boss mega distortion... which is a somewhat underrated pedal
80% of tone is the cabinet
Nux Sound Very well!
Hi does the behringer have a lot of background hiss to it. I have the od300 and it's does hiss like a cat.
I have the FAB already but it has a higher tinnier sound. I really like the bassist tones of the NUX! Very nice!!!
I love the Behringer HD 300
I use the FAB metal for bass. It's very midrangey. I can only use it for finger stuff. It has a nice tone for that; I'd have a hard time finding a replacement alternative.
Nothing says Metal like Bad Company;)

I think behringer wins...nice sound..!
I thought the JOYO sounded much better than any of the others.

I had a NUX but it was rebranded as kokko. It was my favorite pedal until one of the knobs broke on me. maybe i should get another one.
Behringer wins easily to me. But big minus on the plasticy enclosure. What would you recommend for the slighty higher price high gain distortion pedal? Really nice vid and playing!
try tc electronic fangs or eyemaster. or maybe blackstar lt metal
@@onassisnoahquadra7123 thanks, they are actually good but i'll go with MT2w
That guitar is beautiful man
Fab metal reminds me of the metal zone
Good call. I believe that's what it was modeled after.
@@guitarofdestiny Nope, ironically it modeled after the DOD grunge pedals from the Jason Lamb series, so it's not really a metal pedal at all. JHS did a video on the Danelectro Fab series, very weird pedals I recommend you watch their video.
fab metal
FAB is the worst by far
I instantly cringed when he turned it on
It might work better in the FX loop like the pedal it sounds a lot like whose name rhymes with pedal stone
behringer sounds good . then pocket metal, thanks
would go for behringer first then nux.
I liked FAB and joyo, they giving the closest to my favourite metal tone

Behringer all the way
The Danelectro sounded like the guy who made it was really angry that day, scared me, not for me lol.
3:34 booooooom baby!
sold my kokko distortion
Kokko and Nux Distortion is Same??
Behringer won!!
The FAB is garbage but the Joyo and the Behringer rocks pretty great ;)
Thank you very much for this video.
I have the Danelectro FAB and I can assure you it sounds equally awful.
Fab the best
Joke
The Pocket Metal was not bad but ya the Fabs pretty good!!
