Can you compare and contrast Japanese Natural Stones and Arkansas Stones and specifically address why Arkansas Stones are generally used as oil stones and Japanese Naturals are water stones?

I like my natural stone - Belgium Brik. It contains granet and is very hard. Work really good as polishing stone. I have an nagura of the same material.

    Hello,
    Thanks for your videos !
Quick question about deburring : if i'm not mistaken at 35mn you are alternating edge-leading strokes for the right side of the knife and edge-trailing for the left side. Is there a reason for that method ?
I knew about either all edge-leading OR all edge-trailing, but it's the first time i see it alternated like this.
