Did you teach him to swim yourself? I'm trying to teach my 5 yr old to swim, kind of a slow start. Only because someone scared him while being in the deep end. But now, I'm showing him there's nothing to be afraid of. Good job! We'd love to live in Hawaii.........

daddyjoe470 yes I taught him how to swim, actual swimming, basically freestyle, breast stroke, and treading water, I took him every day this last summer and spent about two hours in the pool with him each day, by the end of summer he was cracking 500 meter swims with me no problem, and is pretty comfortable in the water now
