The students have a right to protest, but PSU also has the right to deny protesting students credit for the semester or even expel them. If the students truly believe in what they're protesting for such consequences should be non-negotiable.

Watching "The View" Monday morning, I thought what Sunny said, makes the most sense. And i will preface 1st, that maybe we really shouldn't be viewing these debates as either [pro-Israel or pro Jew] vs [pro-Gaza or pro Palestinian or even pro hamas] but rather, as ANTI-WAR. And let's face it, can't we all or shouldn't we all - atleast admit, that what netanyahoo & the idf are doing to Gaza, appearing to be nothing short, of a scorched earth attack, is a major violation of the rules of war & a major bombardment upon the human rights of a mostly defenseless populace?! 34,000+ - according to most news sources we have, of mostly Civilians, of mostly Women & Children; of an entire Infrastructure of also Hospitals, Universities ... even access to basics of food, water, & medicine ... this just cannot be considered acceptable, whilst one side has all the weapons, against another side that appears to have virtually none, & that the UN has even deemed unacceptable; AND, that WE are the ones helping the side that has ALL the weapons that are furthering 'charged' abuses. Hence, these are Protests against this unjust War, not against any Peoples, per se. Or atleast they shouldn't be. no?
That's incredibly simplistic. The "war" has been going on for many years and Egypt built a wall to keep "Palestinians" out. Lebanon and Syria have denied them entry and ejected those that were already there. Those Arabic Muslims get no grief but you get mad at Israel for responding to YEARS of missiles being launched (Iran is providing weapons so your "one side has all of them" is not based in reality) and for a terrorist attack on civilians. You go on about "innocent lives" while imagining that hamas accurately aimed their rockets and only struck military targets. I would urge you to research the almost 80 years of this war before assuming that "The view" either understands it or is fair in their evaluation of it.

Only in the primaries, where a party candidate is chosen, you can be unaffiliated or independent and vote in the general election in November
