    Love it! I haven’t mastered stacking my tiered cakes yet; they are never centered. But I love making cakes. I’ve followed you for forever and now created this business account to share my cakes and treat designs. For now I’ll stick to treats. I’m not bold enough to record myself doing cakes 🤣 .     Thank so much for all your videos and tips. Although a cake maker I have never attempted a wedding cake. My son and fiancé asked me to make a semi naked cake for their wedding. It turned out absolutely fab. I made your vanilla batter cake, three tiers with buttercream and a trailing flower spray. Could not have achieved without following your videos and reading all the advice on your website

    I have two semi naked cakes for two weddings next week. I bake out of my home and am thankful for all the great tips and advice you have. I am wondering what you used to make the center hole on your middle tier? An extra piece of dowel? And then what is your suggestion for making the center hole on your top tier without going through your top layer of icing? Thank you in advance!

    I plan to do my own semi nude cake with caramelised fig in the top and sides. I have never made a teared cake, you have some great tips in here. Thankyou

      aw thanks! Sadly I don't really work with fondant often, so I dont really plan to ever make a fondant wedding cake🙈 I'm really just a buttercream girl through and through!!! ❤️ I'm also terrible with fondant!! haha

    Great video. Really easy to follow and with your cheerful disposition makes it great to watch, so thank you for sharing. You mentioned cream cheese frosting, I've seen that a lot of bakers don't use cream cheese frosting because of it being left around for a while at weddings and because it apparently doesn't hold up so well as perhaps a buttercream or ermine frosting. Do you have any thoughts/advice on that.

    Sorry if this is a stupid question... so you keep the cake board on the bottom of each sized layer when you stack the cake. When you serve the cake do you disassemble each sized layer?

    Do you need to refrigerate before sending it off? I don’t have a big refrigerator to chill it. I am just using a normal buttercream frosting in the fillings and royal icing on decorating

    Hey Chelsea have you heard of the cakesafe? Super expensive but TOTALLY WORTH IT! I got one for my birthday last year and you can literally tilt your cake while it’s in the safe.

      I hadn't heard of it until a couple weeks ago, and had no idea it existed! I don't really make wedding cakes often or have the space the store it (my apt is less than 600 sq ft!), but my friends that have it swear by it!!! If i ever do more wedding cakes, I'm def going to invest in one!

    I've got a three tier wedding cake order for this Sunday. The bride is having someone come to pick up the cake but plans to have the cake placed onto a cake stand at the venue. Is this going to work? I've transferred cakes onto cake stands, but never a 3 tier one already stacked. Any recommendations for how to approach this one?

      it varies if you use a flower nail! But for me, it's usually 30-32 for 6 inch, about 35 for 9 inch, and 35 for 12 inch as well (I use two flower nails to help them bake more evenly and quickly!)

    What I do is use the cake pan itself as the leveler so all cakes come out the same height I’m making a 14 in, 10, 6 wedding cake 3 layer 3 tier cake

    I need help! I’m making this cake for my wedding and I’ve done 2 trial (months apart) and my cakes are not as brown as yours! There pale….. I don’t wanna over bake them but do I kind of have to and then add simple syrup to get them moist again! Help, my wedding is in April 2022 xoxox
