  • This Video is my first time listing my 10 favorite film cameras, its also the first time im in front of the camera.
Not something im used to, its probably not going to be a common theme in the future, but for this kind of a podcast sort of clip i thought just hearing a voice would be even more boring.
And yes, i know im not a natural and most likely will say some corny things as well as make mistakes here and there, but hey, we got to start somewhere , so be nice people!
This clip will feature from Nr 10-8 on my list. I go through some features of the cameras , and then i will break down quickly why i like the camera and why its on my list. After every camera i show some photos taken with it as well.
Shout out to Alexander giving me the courage to go ahead with making a clip like this.

I'm a full fledged digital shooter. I have an old Minolta pocket camera that shoots film, but I never use it. Videos like this one make me curious about what magic I can uncover with film. I'd love to come across a good Nikon film body.

Yes i was too for a long while Freeman :) even if i did shoot film long ago. But i acme to a point with my digital photography where so much was about getting more pixels and specs on the cameras and was such a part of the upgrade race. then just suddenly realized how much money i wasted and also how little those things really meant in the end for my own photography. I will most likely always keep shooting digital too though. Some things just aren't possible with film the same way, and the digital cameras are great tools for trying things out :) But i see my film journey now as something different, just another way to express yourself and shoot. But its great, its demanding and not cheap lol. But its worth it i feel.
You should! you will like trying out some Monochrome film on a classic Nikon body :D Then keep shooting digital too hehe.

I switched to digital just after they closed up the Kodachrome 200 processing, before this I used mostly the Nikon F90X for about 10yrs. Today the F100 is a snap on ebay but look for one with the battery grip. even cheaper but nearly as useable is the F75. The good non-AF cameras as FM-2, FE-2, F3 are going up in price in the last years.
