  • I've always dreamed of peonies. They are beautiful and they smell amazing. Here I share my trial and error and how I was able to get mine to bloom.

    The ants are going after the sugar sap coming from the buds. And it’s a signal that the peony is ready to bloom. If anything, ants protects aphids. So when you see ants on other plants, that means you most likely have a pest problem.

      This is good to know. The peony this year has 10 blooms, and I'm thinking about doing a follow up. I did plant 5 more peonies this year of varying varieties.

    Yeah you could try and it told me that doesn't need a cold chill my phone keeps going off sorry about that it's a mixture between your tree peony and your regular panty they were down south better than anything so try those they're a little more expensive but if they work and they're just beautiful you don't get the spots on the stems are stronger they just such a pretty plant try it okay I have 30 gardens at memorial Park in New Kensington PA and I've been doing it for 20 years now so give it a try okay thank you for your show okay bye
