just came across your channel, your information is spot on, we experience it the same way (we're from the Netherlands), but we don't mind the 2 hour lunch 😀
It’s so interesting to hear your views on French culture. I am French but I moved to London over 10 years ago, and I have the complete opposite culture shocks living in the UK.
We were so used to living a busy life in the U.K….coming here to a more laid back lifestyle is great, we love it. Just took a bit of getting used to. As it must have been for you moving to busy London.
Yes for sure, especially as I’m originally from a small village in northern France. Moving to London was a real shock. I do miss having a two hour lunch though :)

I have always believed that when in Rome do as the Romans do. How can anyone move to a different country and NOT learn the language ? That's nuts and I think it is insulting to the people of that country. Well that's just my opinion. Very informative video. Be well, be safe. : )
The pace of life is soo very different to England a lot slower ,and getting use to the shops opening times lol. Its nice if you can speak abit of French even though it might not be very fluent to start with. The more you mingle the better it gets. Loved watching
Girls, I am an American and have been here for the last two months. I am in love with the idea of the two hour lunches and the three hour dinners, but its hard to deal with when you weren't brought up this way. They dont know any different. I have to plan out my entire day around food. And lets not forgot their holidays.
Etrange humour britannique... Pour info, en France, les magasins de bricolage ouvrent à 7h00 du matin et ferment à 7h00 du soir avec une heure de pose. Donc 11 heures d'ouverture par jour. et sans 1 heure de pose à 17h00 comme en Angleterre.
Sunday is God's day and it's related to Catholic religion since several hundred years...People (most of) don't work on sunday and enjoy life and being together.
We all deserve a 2 hour lunch lol.. you two too xxx
I can’t wait for these 2 hour lunches to start happening for us! Haha! 😊

Aw thank you for your comment! I don’t think we will mind the 2 hour lunch when we have less to do! 🤣🤣
What region do you live in?

Absolutely agree! 👍
I live in Massachusetts I would love to live at a much slower pace. Also, bakeries and bread are important 🤤❤️ thanks for another video and stay well.
Thank you for subscribing Lorrie; we hope you liked both of tonight’s vlogs ❤️
My three sisters all do Duolingo French lessons in Canada. Now I just need to convince them to travel to France!
It definitely is a country you need to experience! 😊

Bien souvent sans pause d'ailleurs...
You may not take a two-hour lunch break but you don't seem to have given up the old tea break, do you? 😁
There is always time for a tea break!! 😊
welcome :o)
Thank you!
Two hour lunches in Paris last about 40 minutes. Nothing shuts.
That’s great!
