This makes me think that If TV Michonne did what her comic version did to the Governor, that would definitely make it difficult for Rick and his group to trust her since she was already on thin ice. They probably would've went through completely with the trade request.
This chapter was one of my favorite for many reasons especially because of Michonne vs Governor conflict and her torture of him. The novel for example goes into a way better explanation of The Governor’s torture which I enjoyed more from his perspective. As for the show, I enjoyed Michonne vs Governor for the character development and emotional factors played bringing up Penny. When I first read the comics, Martinez’s betrayal caught me completely off guard. But I can’t wait until the next part! Btw, Otis didn’t go missing, he got partially devoured while the walkers broke into the prison. Rick saw him as a walker and put him down. It was very brief and it took me until my second reading to realize. Also, have a great day! 👍🙂

I always loved Twd comic universe including TWD games because of how much more darker it is as in like it shows more apocalypse reality and what you would expect in a zombie apocalypse and more realistic things and has a way better focus on the groups struggle to survive rather than the tv show.

Me personally I like this issue a lot for one Rick hitting Martinez with the RV was AWESOME and everyone reaction when Rick didn’t have his right hand just imagine in 2012 of season 3 they did that. Listen what Michonne did to the Governorhe really deserve it like all of it he was too far gone. I do like both of the Governors but me personally the show is better. You know when Rick hit Martinez with the RV it just shows who you can trust or believe in. In my opinion when the group went back to Atlanta in season 5 idk why but I liked when Rick was in the police car when he hit Bob if you think about it Rick was a police officer and it made more sense with car he drove and who he was fighting. Really you did another great job! I’m ready for the next video!

I know, it's a bit late, but Otis actually died in this volume. When Rick's group comes back to find prison yard overrun by zombies and Glenn crashes his car. There Rick is almost grabbed by a half eaten zombie who was in fact Otis
This version of the story, the comic Governor, and this entire arc sucked hard. Thank god the TV show's Seasons 3 & 4 were written by someone competent. I hope we never get an adaptation of this garbage comic. It would be a waste of money and time for the animatiors.
The group wearing riot gear looked so cool, i wish they had used it more especially considering how beneficial it is to not being bitten

Otis never went missing. Rick found him with his guts out in the front entrance implying he got attacked off-panel so Rick put him out of his misery.
