You might have noticed that 4K and 2K video looks identical. The camera seems to scale the 2K videos up to 4K with the single camera attached. This results in a larger video file but no increased resolution. The actual resolution is 2K, but it looks pretty good. I'm still looking for the Android app that goes with the D530 dash cam. I lost it when I had to replace the cell phone. Does anyone know which app it is?
hi im having an issue with this dash cam. checked the user manual but couldn’t find any solutions. Hope someone can help me here. so while i drive the cam automatically start recording for 10-20 seconds and then automatically turn off. also sometime it records maximum 5 minutes and automatically stop recording and the screen goes to black. i want it to record non stop while im driving until i turn it off/turn off the car. please help me
since I bought this Camera it keeps showing Memory error!? I used new one also did not work!! even with phone app I can't record video or take picture, I don't whats wrong with it ?
Great review of a good looking system. My only worry would be the ball joint wearing out as the front camera looks quite heavy and already has a bit of wobble🤔
Thanks Keith! The mount seems to be solid but has some vibrations. My other dash cams seem to be riding on cloud and have zero vibrations. It is as if they have some image stabilization but this one does not have any image stabilization. I think it also has to do with the direct 3m tape mount instead of the suction cup mounting system where the suction cup dampens the vibrations.
@@RCEscape I suppose the tape is basically foam so it will allow movement whereas a suction mount would be more resilient and probably a better choice for this setup.
@@keithhenderson5788 I did place two extra double sided tape but it still has vibrations. Yup, I think it should have come with a suction cup mount instead of the tape mount or both and make the tape mount and angle it to use as a dashboard mount like the other vivilink dash cam.
i have my Jomise dsahcam but my samsung pro endurance 128 gb class 10 doesnt work.if i turn on my jomise dashcam the big problem why VCAP starting not Jomise?
I really cant get my head around these (what I would call useless) dash cams. Even with seeing your video footage, it's still a nightmare trying to make out what the number plate says... which to me is the whole point of a dash cam All I want is a clear capture dashcam where I can easily read the number plate :(
I bought a new one with firmware version in Dec.2020. I also failed to find the video encoding option of H264 or H265. Where can I download your firmware version?

The camera have not software stabilization. And the mount only take the camera in one point. This is the reason of shakings and video with so much vibrations. So the quality of the video is good, but also poor because this vibrations. The light that indicates the camera is recording is located in the front side of the camera. It is imposible to see this light in transit, so you dont know if the camera is filming or not, because the screen turn from the real view to the display of velocity and time, after some minutes of filming. If you read the user manual, the first thing you discover is the manufacturer dont recomend to use the camera on places with high temperatures. So how can i use this devices in my car dashboard, one of the hottest places of my car???? Its hard for me to understand how the chineses designers head working. This camera have a lot of good and quality things, but only with one poor designed piece (the mount), the main quality is not good.

does the motion sensor still work when the car is turned off but the the parking mode and motion sensor is turned on?
Some one has opened and confirmed that its Sony hardware is only a 2k model instead of 4k. How can it take a 4k video?

hey i bought it 3 days ago and my camera after 10 minutes turned off. Only lights are flashing, Blue, red and green but screen is black.

I had the same problem and I ended up formatting it on my PC and it then was able to recognise it on the camera.
