I love these Itty Bitty Bags! I think one would be so cute hanging off of Barbie's arm. All the ideas that have come up are so exciting to me. Thank you so much for the videos.
Christine, I cannot tell you how glad I am to have found your channel. Thank you for your kindness in sharing your wonderful ideas and skills. The itty bitty are magic.
I am 92 years old and have been sewing since I was 12. I absolutely love all of your programs. I have adaped the itty bitty bag to use a regeular zipper and have made over a dozen and It is my favorite so far. Thank you so much for sharing your talents.
I love these little bags! One thing that I do when I need an opening on a lining, is rather than stop stitching and then starting again a little further away, when I get to the first mark for the opening, I back stitch a little, then change to basting, sew down the opening, then change the stitch length back, back stitch, and then continue to the end. A quick meld with the iron and open the seam (both sides) with the tip of the iron. When I am ready for the opening, I just snip the basting stitches and I have nice, crisp edges for matching and stitching by machine or by hand. This is particularly helpful if the opening is going to be on the bias….it helps to get things lined up for closing in the event stretching occurs while turning the piece right side out. As well, often I will take a slightly larger piece and make a seam down the middle, then cut the lining piece from that, making sure to use the method just described. This makes it much easier for me when the sides of the lining are on the bias, because the opening is on the straight of grain.
Those are adorable! Great to hold anything small: chapstick, earbuds, keys. Maybe even a credit card and some folded cash so you could just clip it on your belt loop when you're out shopping and don't want to drag your big purse along
They are so adorable, love the idea for car keys! So glad I found you on youtube, love watching all of your tutorials! U are such a great teacher!! Keep us updates on how well they sell. Thanks
Love love your itty-bitty bag oh sooooo cute !!! Thank you for going sooo slow and explaining every step !!!!! Love the way you teach !!! Thank you for sharing and caring 👏🏿🍭👍🏿👊🙌🏼👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿🙏🏻👍🏿😍❤️❣️🍓🥰💖💕😘🤎💝❌😇
I really like them. Perfect for cc, bills, and change. Teenagers would love them with a wrist type handle. After all they need a hand to hold their phone!
LOVE this! It puts me in mind of an old fashioned carpet bag, so yes, have a contrasting bottom. Super way to work through your stash and utilize the unused zipper half. If your local elementary and/or high schools have events open to the public, perhaps you could operate a booth selling things kids and teens would like. I imagine the girls would likely ‘squeeeee’ over these. Heck, I imagine grown women doing the same!😊 My nephew’s three daughters certainly will when I make one for each. Thank you for this!
Thank you for sharing the Itty Bitty Bag tutorial. They are very cute and the black contrast looks really nice. I love all your time saving ideas and guidance for pricing; you give so much valuable information and have wonderful clear teaching. 😊❤
I love these! When I was in my teens the five and dime store (don’t ask my age) sold little plastic/vinyl bags similar to this. We girls would put in a lipstick, safety pins, change, tissues, comb, etc. and call it our “emergency kit.” Your lesson brought back a chapter in my life that I’d forgotten about. I’m going to have to try making one…or two! 🥰 Love your channel ❤
The Itty Bitty bag is adorable! I have a lot of orphaned jelly roll strips and pieces of layer cakes. I'm going to have to practice putting the slider back on my box full of used zippers. I try my best at repurposing everything. I realized that some people were buying my things because of the buttons. Apparently, there's such a thing as antique buttons, who knew? My mother had me cut up old clothing for button & zippers. I've been 40 for the last 20 years, so I had a mountain of both. I actually had to buy zippers and buttons (in bulk of course)! I didn't think it possible, but I used and sold them all. I found a very wonderful woman on Etsy, who had a ton of fabrics. She loved to play with them, then sell them. I kept buying and sending pictures. She was so happy that "her" fabrics were made into beautiful baby quilts, and a meriad of other "creations". Her words, not mine. But, so pleased I was able to use up every inch. I sent her pictures of my Amish Star potholders and she sent me an enormous amount of fabric, remnants up to 2 yard cuts, just to see what I could make.😊❤
That's so lovely Sharon. It's amazing how generous people are when they know you have good intentions. Collecting buttons is a "thing". We get a few customers come in regularly just to see if we have any new stock of vintage buttons from deceased estates😀

I found this site on Saturday and made one of these bags on Sunday. They are sooo cute. I didn't have a zipper but I did not let that stop me. I just love it. Thanks so much for sharing everything. I also looked at quite a few more of your videos. God bless all the way from the Caribbean.
Thank you so much Melissa, and good job on adaptation of bag 😁

Thank you for sharing what you charge for the item. It provides a great price point of where to start on price. I love them and hope to use up some scraps!

These bags are just too cute♥️. Little toddler girls will love them. They could be used for doggie bags especially for the females😝. Thank you for another fabulous tutorial. It will be interesting to how many you sell in how long. Stay safe 🤗
