I was really hoping this NARS color corrector would be the one for me. My under eyes are fussy enough without adding a fussy product to the mix! I find most liquids too drying, but lots of pot type concealers and color correctors too cakey. I feel like I’ve tried them all, and I still haven’t found my precious! Maybe I’ll try a stick next? Maybe I’ll try the Tarte radiant?

The only color corrector I truly rely on now is the Tarte. My pits of despair remain! And grow. Eek!

I was using the product during this video. I find only putting it in the very inner dark circles looks ok. I correct with CT medium. I think it helps. Nothing can stop the creasing on my mature under eyes. But I think it helps the dark pits a little.
You’re right. They don’t despair. They kind of chill. The dark pits of chill.
Do you ever set the corrector before applying concealer? With either a setting spray tapped in or fine setting powder? If you wear a heavy eye cream you could try bringing eyeshadow primer down or bringing face primer to the lash line. I use the CT on my inner corner.

Anyway, back to the product, I'm wary of products like this that come in jars too. I worry about them drying out. I've got a concealer that is too thick, yet can't bring myself to throw out. The problem is, that I don't need an eye brightener, my under-eyes are bright enough and require colour to even out with the rest of my face. I'm more than happy with my Burberry Cashmere Concealer which is wonderful and light, yet gives good coverage. It's great for using over the face like you did in the video. Honestly, how many products do these Cosmetic Companies expect us to use on our faces? Primer, Colour Corrector, Eye Brightener, Concealer and Setting Powder! That's insane. When I moved from the big smoke of Melbourne to the fresh Alpine air, I didn't see any point to covering up my skin anymore and decided to let it breathe. It's certainly thanked me for it, as no-one believes my age! Although, I am interested in that Chanel Rosy Beige that will hopefully smoothe and blur my 'La Brea Pits' of pores. At least until I attempt to get some weight onto my face. When fat is lost from the face, pores are made far more visible and I wouldn't mind smoothing them out. My Burberry Powder does a good job, but it's tinted and that's not what I want around the house or going to the supermarket. I'll order some soon. What would you suggest as a good under eye powder? Not brightening, yet to simply set the concealer? I've heard much about PML, although the light one maybe too light. Let me know of anything you come up with. I'm done with my coloured mascara now. The two Shisheido in Purple and Blue arrived yesterday and can't wait to use them. The green went on wonderfully, without looking at all garish. I doubt anyone would even know the colour on my lashes. It's a very good mascara at a great price too. I've been collecting their Kajal Eye Liners which are heavenly and smooth out to a shadow too. They're retractable, which makes them more convenient and slightly thicker than VB, and much cheaper! They stay put all day and I'm so happy with them. I haven't bought anything from Shisheido in many years, but have rediscovered how great they are.
Now, go and pour yourself some champagne and toast yourself. Jim Beam will have to do from me, until I get more champers. Congrats dear friend, so thrilled for you. Bottoms up!🥃🇦🇺💖👩🏼🎨

You know - for a non brightening but still excellent undereye powder, I’d suggest, believe it or not, the good old Charlotte airbrushed flawless finish. I know. I know. But it’s popular for a reason. It used to be chanel but the reformulation rendered it useless.

I got this product a few weeks back. I have those severely discolored under eyes and dry dehydrated skin that doesn’t do well with much or many products.😞 This has been a great product to pair with concealers that I like but need a little more. I’ve used it under them but it looks best on top of them and as a touch up. It’s non drying with long wear but also doesn’t melt my eye makeup. There is a generous amount of product. It pairs well with a tinted sunscreen. But…I could live without it. It’s not a must have. I’ve wondered if that’s just because it’s a different type of product.
Jess!!! You are 100% correct. I read your comment and was nodding along in agreement. Exactly. It seems to be best when put over concealer and it does work and it lifts the look. But is it absolutely necessary? No. I almost want to find a day when I’m not really not going out anywhere and actually apply it over concealer on only one eye to see how it looks in a few hours versus the other eye. Just like you say here, it has its place but it’s not necessary enough
I picked this up a few days ago. I love it. Wear it over a color corrector and it looks so good.
I’m experimenting. And applying very thinly!
I use the soft matt concealer as an eye base and a little bit into my dark circles, think mine are bit more purple than yours Rebecca lol xx this product does look similar xx

Yeah! 15K! Congrats on reaching your goal - a testament to your hard work, to the swiftness with which you obtain and review products but mostly to your earnestness and your engaging communication style. I enjoyed your demo, your wear test and hearing your assessment. I am very curious about how the idea to make this came about at the Nars’ R&D team meeting? Did a new, 20-something employee say “every brand is coming out with liquid concealer, how about launching a solid concealer and calling it “colour corrector”? And nobody had the courage to say “it’s been done by several brands and these solid concealers don’t sell well.” (Do you think it would work as an eyelid primer? Because that’s where I most need colour correcting.)
I always wonder about those things as well. What happened at the meeting? Are they just trying to make sure they have every corner covered so that make up artists who are sponsored by their brand, for instance, or backstage at shows when they’re using just their products, they don’t have to go outside of the product line for anything? Perhaps that’s it? I think actually for an eyelid primer it would be fantastic. I put it on my eyelids in this demo and loved it. It didn’t crease at all.
Thanks for this, Rebecca! I actually rushed out to get this when it came out but when I saw it on person I did not buy it. I'm super pale and cool-toned and it looked soooo yellow in the lightest color. I didn't like the CT color corrector, either. I am still just wearing Tarte color corrector in pink. I don't want an extra product, I am into one and done products. And congrats on 15k!
You and I are cut from the same cloth. The potted products are just too creasing!
I am very pale. The clinique colour corrector/undereye primer in peach works SO well and helps stop creasing. Zero creasing on mature skin when used with Dior Forever concealer

I’m grateful for whatever you put is in the drawing for because with the Insane cost of living we are struggling with this day and age (especially in central california ) it’s far and few between the times I can actually buy makeup. Very very hard to buy t things for myself as a working mom! I have watched you for a while now and I’m so glad I found you. I appreciate the realness of your videos and down to earth demeanor. Congratulations on 15K ! So awesome!🎉 I hope you continue to grow daily. I cannot believe that your video showed up when it did. I had the exact same experience with this new brightener. It just sort of separated and looked horrible after a few hours. And I used a very small amount !! Yesterday and today I used the NARS color corrector under my eyes before I applied my foundation. I used NARS light reflecting as I was trying to only use one brand. Here are the things I like about this new product. I like the stickiness. Weird right ? You just need the smallest amount on your finger tip to tap it under your eyes. It looks great when first applied but then it goes down hill. But, today I had better results when I put a tiny amount of powder on the brightener. It’s almost 7 pm and I have to say day 2 was much better than day one. It looks really good tonight. Ok, is it really worth the extra work? Probably not. I have to rush to watch your new video now before someone comes demanding my attention. I shouldn’t complain. I am sooooo happy to have my father in law next door with my daughter ! the new law school graduate. She and her husband and !!! my little grandbabies are next door too. I’m just so glad we can all be together :) Thanks for another great video 😘

So I had this, bought it, now can’t find it 😮 if that gives you an idea of how much make up I have here, I put it in one of my bins I just can’t figure out which one and it’s small.…..
I’ll keep looking for that I don’t think I would re-purchase it if I can’t find it. I found it to be a little bit thick and it did crease a little bit.

What is it you lost, an eyeliner?
Did you set it though? It remains tacky and must be set but if you press a tiny bit of Prisme Libre on it won’t budge
Yes. I do like it better when it is set but it’s still not my absolute favorite. I actually like their color corrector with the doe foot a little little bit more
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty haven’t tried that one. My fave colour correction is the redial banana lowlighter but it only lasts 1/2 a day on me. The CT in a tiny compact is good but soo emollient it moves on me

Hi Rebecca! I got the Huda one in the Pink shade but I still think I prefer the Nars one in the square tube in shade light. It just seems to do more! I also have the Bobbi Brown ones in the little round compacts in light bisque and light peach but not keen on the thick formula of those.
I actually think you would like the Tarte, Emma. They are similar products. The second favorite I have is the Nars and I really like it a lot. The one in the wand I mean. I have heard wonderful things about the BB ones but if they are in the little pot it’s a no for me I don’t like those.
In the Bobbi Brown correctors I do like the stick far more than the pot for under eyes. I forget about the Nars square tube! Thanks for the reminder.

I do love Nars, I'm interested in this but i do have my holy grail Bobbi Brown colour corrector, I'm really enjoying the ND colour corrector and I've just bought the Huda Beauty one, I've only used it twice so not made a decision yet but i will say the shades do run dark, i bought the lightest shade and it's still deep but it works well with the Huda concealer

This is a very good question. I did not and I would not expect to because of the formula but I didn’t really ever wear it in any situation that would tell me definitively. Definitely need to test that

A lot of companies are coming out with a lot of under eye products that can be mixed or multi use .. it’s getting kind of confusing ! 😂❤
It’s totally confusing. They assume we will appreciate the versatility but I think most of us just get overwhelmed and need to know how to wear it. Too many options is too much info when you’re just hoping to get out the door looking good.

I’ve got it down to a science but constantly struggle with under eye darkness… I need useful and quick products that aren’t gimmicky or confusing. But I also don’t really care for the yellow leaning shades for my light cool shade of skin … it looks good on you tho. But what doesn’t !?🥰

Veronica, you know my concealer spectrum. I think there’s something about the way these correctors work as well. So I’m going to go out in a limb and say that if you’d like the Charlotte product you’ll like this one. I just don’t like potted products for this kind of thing.

I got this in the lightest color & I’ve been trialing it. It’s okay so far but nothing revolutionary. All of us with our dark pits of despair are always lured in by under eye products 😢😢😢
It’s so true. Anything that promises to rid us of the dark pit of despair is worth trying. But I think I wanted to like this one more than I actually do.
Hated this product honestly. Played around with it and it just did not work.
It's not a firm favorite around here either. It works BUT there are SO many other products that work better and are less fussy!

I have this, it’s garbage. Even with the bare minimum blending it disappeared to nothing there.
Yeah. It’s not their best. It does in a pinch but hasn’t stood the test of time in my collection. Good over corrector tho.

I don't know if i would purchase it, but maybe! How i think about Charlotte's colour corrector, good product but when being not 30 years anymore, any, really any extra concealer product irritates me, it's just not beautiful, on me than. When i think, ok, whatever, if people still see darkness under my eyes, i prefer the beautiful American Macrene concealer wow that is so beautiful. When i think hmmmmmmmm.....medium coverage maybe or when using a foundation that goes more to a foundation, than i love love love the Chanel one in the jar, hate the jar but this is actually my most loved concealer. When i think help i feel so insecure about these dark circles, i mix my Huda full coverage concealer on my hand with the Lancome one after prepping eyes well, does not always work on my 50 plus eyes, but when it does......good!!!!!!!!!!! Learned the last trick here from Gemma. But than it is already mixed on my hands before i apply these 2 on my prepped undereyes with help of an ELF sponge. I have many other concealers, and i find it the most difficult makeup item, i must say. Those were my thoughts. But a good foundation etc. Wow how i was shocked that my most favorite foundation the black Suqqu jar will be reformulated, i hoop for the good! But concealer is most difficult. But very thankful that it is there! It's watching lots of RUclips as well, finding the right stuff, but most challenging.
