Hi Great video. I took out the gear shift assembly and when it all got put back in the gear shift went to all gears but of them engaged. have no idea what is wrong. have taken out and reassembled several times and it still the same.
Hi Bob - I have the same exact problem - Took it out and freed the stuck shaft and then replaced. Goes into all gears but nothing connects to the drive train or engine?? Did you find an answer?
Hey. I was wondering if either of you fixed your issue. I am thinking about going through this procedure, but I don't want to run into having no gears after removing those pins. I'm not exactly sure yet, as I haven't done this, or fully figured it out yet. If anyone else finds out why this issue happened, please post here. This problem of the pin sticking deserves a good fix, but if you have to actually open up the inside of the engine to fix this issue, then maybe that is more effort than it is worth.

Tyler - I put the unit back together and now none of the gears engage although it feels like the unit is shifting ok

@@tommoxon6671Moxon my Suzuki has the same problem, the cable pops off, for the 5 gears I am afraid to move it out did you find the answer.
