I remember when the Black Album came out. It seemed like it took forever as Metallica at that point was releasing an album every two years. The Black Album was released THREE years after And Justice for All. I was 20 when the Black Album was released. I was still using cassette tapes back then. It would be a year or more for me to switch to CD’s.
I know it’s just for fun but listening to fills with your eyes closed like 3:33 show why Lars took a simple approach on the Black Album and how hard it is to write a good “song”. That completely killed the feel
I thought you were #MikePortnoy, @ first. Yeah, drumming on "Justice" & Metallica are the best I've ever heard from Lars. It's not necessarily that it was difficult drumming. It's just that he developed two signature styles for each of those records, which - though they're previously and subsequently alluded to - are never really heard before or again.
This is an under-rated song

Hey man, I've listened to your cover from 8 years ago and this one and I just want to say - you're dang amazing drummer! Keep up the work!
Impulsiveness like Lars Ulrich💯
Right arm stamina going to shit towards the end xD
