- Hi! Here's everything I've crocheted in the past 4 months. I've made some clothing pieces like cardigans and tops, but I've mostly made amigurumi dolls. I'm definitely not a pro at this but it's become something I really enjoy doing!!! Hopefully I'll be able to make more crocheted pieces in the future!!

I’ve been crocheting since March and it’s consumed my life😩 I got to California recently for a trip and I couldn’t bring my yarn and I’ve realized how bad I miss crocheting😭😭 And I saw your dinosaur amigarumi plush and I’m so close to just to getting new supplies so I can crochet for the month that I’m here.

You should get a few super cheap hooks at walmart and there's yarn at the dollar tree that works pretty well.
Do you guys have an suggestions for beginner crochet…ers? I started crocheting like 2 days ago and know how to do single stitch and granny squares. Am currently just experimenting and making a huge granny square, but I wanna learn something else. I ask you guys since the suggestions on google are sorta boring lol
@@zjdj09 try following a tutorial for a simple amigurumi! I started out learning granny squares but a lot of stuff started clicking when I made my first amigurumi. I also got faster with my stitches throughout the project. I made a bunny as my first project. I’d also go to hobby lobby/michaels and buy an electric stitch counter (they’re like 3-4$), it helped a lot in the beginning. Make sure you use an acrylic yarn too it’s a lot easier to work with for beginners (at least for me).

I started crocheting about two weeks ago, i made a tube top, matching mask. And now making a bucket hat byt its too big and i cant redo the part i messed up. Now crocheting is taking up my life. Bought my first new yarn yesterday :D

just a suggestion for the daisy top you said you didn’t like the fit of, you can crochet a ribbing on the bottom of the top so that it fits to your liking!

I’m just started learning crochet but my yarn is so bullshiz that’s why it’s kinda hard to learn
I also recently started and I bought at first good quality yarn for my first project and it turned out quite easy to make. Then I found cheaper yarn and bought it, and it’s so much harder to use ! Idk what is wrong with it, but I don’t think I’ll buy it again.. I didn’t think that the quality of the yarn would impact my work that much !
Édit : I tried a hack I saw on the cheap yarn and it made it so much easier to work with ! All u have to do is let it soak for some time (I did 20minish) in warm water and fabric softener, then let it dry and it’s ready to use :)
Was it indophil yarn?? I used that to practice since it was cheap but it is hard to work with, it gets easier after you finish about 2-4 small projects tho

I made my first patchwork cardigan with the help of your tutorial but my only issue is my squares are a lil stiff so when I don't raise my arms the back panel just kind of rides up or like folds idk what to do about it and also how do you wash your crochet projects?

This is a bit late but I reccomend something like a headband! I started off with a headband and it took a while because I was a beginner but once I finished I was so proud of myself. I used Claudia Crochet's "CROCHET X-Twist Headband / EASY looks like knitted" tutorial!

Im a bit late, but the first thing i made was a granny square, but a better way is to start with a normal square to get used to chaining and using single chrochet

I think youre possibly cutting off corners. Count your stitches for each row and make sure theyre the same all the time. You can always youtube videos on how to crochet a square :)
