Haunted Suvarnabhumi Airport

Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok, Thailand, is believed to be haunted by vengeful spirits, resulting in a series of eerie occurrences. The airport was built on what was once the Cobra Swamp, which also contained an ancient cemetery. During construction, workers reported strange incidents, and some even refused to work due to the unrest, leading to fatal accidents.
To address these supernatural concerns, airport officials conducted a massive ceremony involving 99 Thai Buddhist monks who prayed and chanted for nine weeks. During this ritual, a baggage handler named Poo Ming claimed to be the deceased cemetery guardian and required cleansing. The monks blessed him with holy water to remove the guardian's spirit.
However, Poo Ming is not the only ghostly presence at the airport. There have been sightings of a ghostly lady carrying a baby, known as 'the pale woman,' who has been blamed for frightening drivers and causing accidents. Poltergeists have also been reported, creating havoc when sighted.
Visitors and workers have reported unexplainable sounds, eerie footsteps, ghostly voices, shrill wails, and haunting sounds of classical Thai music within the airport. One security official even entered a trance-like state and ordered the construction of another shrine at the airport, believed to be influenced by a spirit called Phor Kae Ming.
These ghostly encounters have been linked to various unfortunate events at the airport, including car crashes, equipment failures, and baggage truck incidents. Additionally, some airplane accidents have been attributed to paranormal causes, with a benevolent ghost air stewardess assisting in rescue operations.
Tragically, the airport has experienced an unusually high number of suicides, with some attributing these to malevolent spirits. To address these concerns, regular prayer sessions are held at the airport's shrines, with various airlines and airport authorities leading group sessions and people leaving offerings to keep the spirits calm and happy. Suvarnabhumi Airport remains a place where the supernatural and the real world intersect, leaving visitors and workers with chilling tales of ghostly encounters.
