Freeform embroidery rules. Art vs a ‘craft’. No tedious copy work. I keep a lil project in a sandwich ziplock in my handbag for waiting at appointments. Time flies by.

Jennifer's work is so intricate, but she's so good at breaking down the process. It's actually quite simple. I'm amazed at how quickly I can stitch a large area using her technique. I can't wait to buy the book.

What a treat! I’m going through a period of insomnia and just couldn’t get to sleep. I finally got up at 4am and nipped on to You Tube for something to watch … and up you popped with Jennifer’s book! It looks fantastic and I can’t wait for mine to pop through the letter box. Great review, Corrine.
And 2 videos in one day.. you should have seen me at the letter box.. I believe I skipped for a brief moment before nearly falling over.. lol ..gone are those days it would seem lol

I haven’t finished watching. i paused the video to order this beautiful book. I am new to embroidery at 70. I do have the other book and love referring to it.

Nothing like an inspiring needle work book. I want people to know it’s worth the money.. so I buy are so so.. read them once then they sit on the shelf. I have used all of those regularly.. it’s in my top 5.

Thank you Corrine ,I have been waiting for this review and well done, you did the book justice. Great pace so we could see every page. Here in UK the date is end of July so first week of August to get my mitts on it. I love a physical book so I have not bothered with an electronic copy, patience,patience. Jennifer is amazing and I have learnt so much from her snippets and other books, and it is true about her sayings, every time I use ribbon I hear her say ,splay her bottom. 😂 Congratulations to Jennifer for a beautiful book and congratulations to you for an excellent review.

I think Jennifer's book may be published here, isn't C & T Publishing in the U.S? If so, we would get ours first before everyone outside of here would receive there's.
So many Roses to play with.. yes it was printed in USA. Took three weeks for to get to me.

Corrine, stop, I just got 2 of Ur beautiful mentions on Ur channel. 'Once was old' and 'Calico and stitch'.
One of these is out of print now, sooooo lucky 2 just get in and received my goodies wow, beautiful books and yes the flowers will be a must make and the houses seeeeeew yum ohhhh and redwork, stop me .
Nooooow U have these yummy books, yes a must have. Ordering them this weekend from my best book shop here in NZ where it is very cold and wanting winter reading and stitching Yippy .
No more, please, just got my plaids and doilies etc sorted and cut Mums table cloth up, yikes be she will turn in her grave, but all good and will be useful 2 use as my work box and yes I did get the t-towel with the cute houses printed on, see starting this weekend, thanks 4 inspiring me back in2 my crazy needlework days again. Yes also a linen waistcoat and jeans jacket.
I will need 2 have needle n thread and books and cloth and my internet connection in my coffin so I can eternally stitch lolololol
U give me the excitement back again and yes my brain farts with ideas 2 much, no sleep.
So glad I learnt my stitches years ago, but always a new way with stitches makes it more beautiful .
Thank U 2 Suzzie and U 4 making me broke, but recycle lace and embroidery doilies I have collected over the years and I have made will have another life now. There was a reason 2 collect these morsels and more.
Happy shopping again and spoiling us with Ur goodies .
I think between NZ and OZ we had the same lace and doilies, so I have loads in my containers just like Ur stuff yay.

Thanks for the flip through. I have pre-ordered this book today from Amazon here in the U.K. but it says the book is not released until 31st July and I won't get my copy until the middle of August! How frustrating is that!!

I had to stop watching, as I haven’t received my copy yet and still wanted some surprises. I’ve received the Fern Woods and the new Tilly Rose. Keeping them all to enjoy in a few weeks on my birthday!

Brian Haggard is his name. His first book s called Crazy Quilted Memories. He really plays with stitches,and it’s all about preserving the past. I looked up to see if his book is available- and it is, but he has two other books available. So I went ahead and ordered them
