Thanks so much Giusi 🌸
LOVE the crinoline lady print on the old linen. Gorgeous!! My fingers were itching to touch it! And, what a great idea for the knitting needles!! I see them all the time and never thought to use them for hangers! Thanks for sharing ❤
Thanks so much Robin 🌸
The box of gorgeous for £14!!!!!
What an awesome find! 😮so so beautiful!❤
Thanks so much - a very lucky find 🌸
Beautiful treasures you have there. And marvelous threads. You are so blessed.
Thanks so much 🌸
Christine will love it. Awesome treasures
Thanks so much 🌸
Your stickers look like what I have for both journaling and scrapbooking ❤️
Thanks Betty, I had a thought that’s what they were for, I’m going to enjoy using them 🌸
Lovely haul. Those tags attached to the pieces of linen are nice little treasures.
Thanks so much Linda, isn’t it amazing how much we treasure the little things, bits that were made to be discarded are sometimes the real gems 🌸
Yummy! Lovely treasure
Thanks so much Corrine 🌸
What a lovely haul for June Sally , I have a love for crinoline ladies , I don,t seem to see many about lately though 😪 love the idea with the knitting needles xx
Thanks so much Gillian, the crinoline ladies are getting rarer, so lucky to have found some 🌸
Beautiful finds!!
Thanks so much Betty 🌸
Hi Sally, Love the quilt you found. With the burnt hole, I'd patch over it and make it a feature, that's what the philosophy of slow stitching is....'make do and mend'. It would be a shame to cut it.
Such a fabulous haul! Have fun!
I’m torn, Edith, on mending or cutting, it’s in pride of place at the moment folded over a chair back and I’m just enjoying all those beautiful fabrics 🌸
@@DottyBeeVintage you'll get inspiration in time - enjoy x
Oh, how exciting………….. Bring on September. Love that Crinoline Lady print, be lovely to embroidery…. Your vintage haul is so cheap and all those doily transfer ones are cute. Love the bird vintage fabric. Great idea with those knitting needles, I’ll keep that in mind. I’d keep the cane basket…. Love the quilt…😊😊😊❤
Thanks so much Kristy 🌸
Nice haul, thanks for sharing 🪡🧵♥️
Thanks so much Lisa 🌸
What an amazing haul!!
Thanks so much Martha 🌼
Lovely 😊
Thanks so much Jean 🌸
Wow, that’s a massive haul with some treasures in it! I’ve never found any old linens in the charity shops near me. ☹️ The box with the paper/ribbon trims is for journaling/card making.
Thanks so much Lynn 🌸
I don't find any in the charity shops on the Isle of Wight either Lynn😢 xx
Hey from TX, USA, Dotty! Beautiful things you got, any of the pieces of linen with stains you could use as a foundation piece for slow stitching and cover it with something, no waste.
Thanks so much Becky, so true! No waste here - I’m going to enjoy using them 🌸
So love your monthly roundup.. you mentioned an eBay seller.. is it.. lotsam1.. not sure if Iv spelt it right? I presume you yourself do not sell on eBay.. if you did I would certainly be a buyer 😄
Thanks so much - the seller is lotann1- I’m not selling on eBay at the moment, but I’m starting to sell a few things over on instagram @dottybeevintage (sorry it won’t let me do a link here) and are you a member of the Facebook group - Dotty Bee’s Slow Stitching ? I’m also adding them there and you will see anything new there when they’re available - thanks Sally 🌸
