The colonists in Aliens were ordered by WY to check out the coordinates, which were most probably given to WY by Ripley during the hearing. Here's how I understood it: Ripley tells them during the hearing there's some bad shit on lv426 (Space Jockey ship). They ordered the colonists to "check it out", hoping to profit from it 2 weeks later they surprisingly lose contact with the colony They send the marines
I hated the hybrid in resurrection... in romulus i didnt mind it as much, it was way creepier and effective but yeah i still didnt love it haha but i did enjoy the film overall
