@@3dsplanchnic737 3D Splanchnic Sorry about the remark, thank you for the video it is very informative. I just had not been able to reproduce it. Somewhere between the absolute override and the material override, I messed up. I've been using Maya for 8 years, I just get frustrated when I don't instantly get something. I know I'll get it in a minute and ill post a MEL script that does this.
This interface could be so much more intuitive - bad design that doesn't take the conventions seriously. Why should it be made so crazy in its setup? I understand that you must define for Maya what to do - but anyone who has done tutorials on this are always checking their render first - it says it all ... there is a lack of feedback ...
YESSSS this is super helpful! Didn't know about bit depth settings in AE- thank you so much!!
Hi - I just learned recently. Thanks for watching!
The way to get the AOVs to render with proper naming conventions; you just add the render token, "RenderPass"....So you can write: __/__
Hi can you post a video about volume shader in arnold for maya it will be very helpful.
I've just been learning this myself. I will try to do so soon. Thanks for the suggestion!
Thank youuu X)
This should only take 3 minutes to explain and 3 seconds to do
Sadly I took 10 times that! I agree with you - I'd like to make shorter video explanations. Thanks.

@@johnstifter Thanks - I have the same problem. Render layers don't always work as predicted.
