- We spent $200 thrifting at two stores for spring home decor for our shop. My favorite thing was the matching cookie jar and salt and pepper set that Zeb and I each found a piece of.

I love watching these thrift trips!
Oh that burled wood chest was so pretty.
I really like watching your thrifting videos 😊
Ha!! You two looked in love today...thrift dating ❤💗🧡
The wooden board is for a Ulu knife from Alaska it’s a little chopping board….now you need to look for the Ulu knife that sits in the slot! 🥰
You know, Jeb, you can sculpt and paint a baby Jesus for any nativity. My sister made one out of patching plaster (!!!) and asked me to paint it and it turned out great! Personally, I’d use self hardening clay.
These and the painting of the thrift finds are my favorite. I love to see the transformations!
I agree!
Love love love your thrifting videos ❤❤❤
❤ again you picked up some cool stuff. I hope to learn more from you guys too
You found some fun dishes for the air BnB
Hay Zeb! The square wood piece with a concave circle and a slot at the top that you thought might be for credit cards...? That originally held a mezzaluna, a curved flat bladed with a wood handle. It's good for chopping herbs and things, you put the food in the round indent and rock the blade over it, then the blade stores in that slit at the top. I was talking to the tv as I watched, and wanted to remember to write a comment so you'll know. Maybe one day you will find one with the blade still with it. I enjoy watching you and Jami Ray and have learned so much, plus you two are really entertaining! Best to you both and happy thrifting.
Awesome finding something made with your stencils
I am in love with the triplet elephants!!!! You 2 lovies crushed it today!!!!
Thank you!!
HA! Zen left you in the dust at the first store! All business! 😂 He left behind that sweet metal dandelion metal wall piece 😢
Thanks phone…. ZeB!!!!! 🙄🤦🏼♀️
It’s fun watching you thrift, but really fun when you go to Riverton to see if I can see anything I donated.
What a good picture of you guys at the end!
SC thrift store prices are WAY higher than what you find. Love watching the thrift shopping!
CA is WAY higher too. So envious of what you find in your thrift stores. Always enjoy your videos.
Jami I love how you always stage your finds so beautifully.
Those cobalt blue plates are drop dead gorgeous.
Totally agree ☺️
They are so pretty!
I wish our thrift stores had the variety that y’all have! I’m jealous! Lol 😂
Have a wonderful vacation!
Please don't paint the chest. See if you can sell with the wood finish first. If it doesn't sell, then have at it. Love your videos and the amazing things you do with thrifted finds.
Thank you for sharing.
You guys have the best thrift stores!! We don’t have any good stuff where I live!! 😢😢. I have family in Salt Lake…the next time I’m visiting the thrifting is on! 😂🎉
Love the thrift videos, you both found such great treasures
Really great finds ☺️
Your thrift stores are so good!!
I bought the same little cloche. I made a terrarium with moss and felted mushrooms
Love the thrifting trips! The paper wreath is lovely too.
Lol. I own that double "Christmas" tray.
Loved the dusty tree thing but the pot is too small for me. I put them in a larger nice planter and fill it with nice gravel to hide the small plastic pot
The thrift shopping is my favorite video of the week. I saw that chest that needed a new top that Zeb was looking at and I passed on it too. Somebody will make it a good home. You guys have a wonderful trip.
Speak no evil, see no evil, hear no evil elephants!!!!
❤ That little mossy looking bird is really cute unpainted I think.. the dresser /furniture piece is lovely.. looking forward to Furniture Friday to see what you decide to do with it! Made me laugh about the grapes always being at the thrift stores for a reason😂 And you two look so happy and tan all ready for Hawaii! Excited for you! 🌺🌴
Good stuff
I had an old wood tool box /medium size rustic chest i put legs on it made a cool storage / t
Side table out of it
Cute! I like that idea
I like what you found and o am sure that you will make them awesome. I look forward to the premiere Saturday night. Bon voyage!
Good advice!!! The paper wreath would look nice in your shop. Like the wire cloche with the bird too.
❤❤❤
Love the dresser. My sis just bought one in Ohio that was painted in your cottage colors with an IOD floral paint transfer. So pretty!!
Oh I would love to see that! Sounds so cute.
Ditch it. You’re better than that.😂
Just wondering...do people really think its appropriate to buy cartloads of donated goods usually meant for ppl who can't afford the things otherwise and jack the prices up 3 times or more to sell on a website for personal profit? I understand the idea of repurposing unwanted items for profit, however to just buy the donated items graciously given by others to sell in exactly the same condition as you purchased them with a jacked up price for YOUR profit seems kind of selfish to me. I've been in Goodwill where resellers are buying up everything before others even get a chance to shop. Is this fair? This has become a very profitable business for RUclipsrs and resellers but leaves many without the opportunity to purchase items they can afford. Just my opinion!
It is a common misconception that these donations are just so people can buy at a low price because they are poor. The Deseret Industries here in utah has so much that they ship some stuff other places. They need as many people to shop as possible because they use the money to buy things for people in need, help pay bills and they do lots of vocational rehabilitation. None of that is possible with used home decor sitting on the shelf. I promise you there is lots of stuff left when we leave, and even more coming the next day. People donate not just so poor people can have home decor, they donate to help fund the good works done by Deseret industries. Here is a link showing where all the money goes to charity. www.deseretindustries.org/what-we-do
So in answer to your question. It is absolutely appropriate and a great way to help this charity and the people they serve.
Also, watch the video and see if they bought necessary things that actual needy people would be looking for?
I donated to DI to help me get rid of useful items that I no longer needed. Otherwise I would have to be throwing things away. The LDS church let no one go without help.
@@JamiRayVintage Great response, you definitely bought things that weren't necessities. If you find and sell things for more to those that can afford it than so be it, it's like being personal shoppers.
And of course Lisa is not responding back, lol. Where you go Lisa?! lol
Loved the thrift haul, my favorite is the elephants. My other favorite is you two, y’all are such an adorable couple!
