I’m glad you had a good flight. Personally I’ll never fly with AA again after the appalling way the flight attendant treated my son and I on a flight from LA to Toronto back in 2007.

One of the cabin crew who was actually quite elderly absolutely screamed at me which was totally unprovoked. When I emailed the airline they didn’t bother replying! That’s obviously how much they care about their passengers!

Great trip report, very comprehensive. American Airlines transatlantic business class sometimes gets bad reviews but the seat, catering and service from the cabin crew looked excellent in your video. Also looks like a decent lounge in Dublin Airport. Thanks for posting!

Another great review. It was very thorough and was edited nicely. You crack me up - you really were enjoying your premium cabin experience and were so positive about the service elements (even the crappy amenity kit). I used to work for American Airlines as a flight attendant over 20 years ago, and it still makes me happy to see people enjoy flying AA. It looks like you had a friendly crew. U.S. carriers do the cabin service best when they have a nice crew. The problem is that it's inconsistent, and you are just as likely to get a lazy, indifferent crew which makes all the difference. The seats and space in business class rival what was offered in first class in the 80s and 90s. However, the food service could be more elegant. People value lie-flat beds and entertainment systems more, and long multi-course meals are less important now. That said, your meal service looked nice and better than I have had on Aer Lingus, British Airways, and United Airlines in recent months. I also recognized the Maldron Hotel at Dublin Airport. That hotel is in an excellent location for getting to the terminal but is otherwise neglected and underwhelming. That building should be knocked down and a newer facility put in its place. You have enjoyed the 51st & Green Lounge much more than I have recently. The location on the ramp level is excellent for watching planes out the window. But I find the furniture is worn out, the restrooms are too small and dirty, and the food offering is lackluster. You took off from Dublin's new northern runway. I hope you had a nice time in San Francisco. Thanks for another pleasant video.

If you have a good crew on your flight, that makes a huge difference and also its much easier for me with my camera 😁 The catering for this flight made a great job, only the seat was not the best, I would prefer their seat inside the Boeing 787-9. But nevermind, a lie flat bed is a great experience if you compare it to their Economy and Premium Economy seats 😁 Yeah, I really had a great time in San Francisco and also some more flights, to Hawaii and back to London.. so there comes a lot more during the next weeks ✈️

dont ever go on a 787 business class of american, they are like a tube of toothpaste with no place even for a handbag if you are in the forward looking seat. If you are in the backward looking you get a little space to place your stuff, but they are like a tube of toothpaste with your feet uncomfortably turned left because the space for them is on the right side , not the middle.
I've never seen anyone look so happy about going to Philadelphia ....
