Austrian Airlines offers, as a part of the Lufthansa Group, a few long-haul flights from their main hub Vienna, mostly to the USA, Canada and a few cities in Asia.
But is it the most underrated airline in the entire Lufthansa Group?
I had the chance to try their Business Class on a 9,5-hours flight from Vienna to Chicago on board a Boeing 777-200(ER).
After my first flight from Copenhagen, I had enough time to visit Austrian's Senator Lounge, before it was time to board our plane.
Austrian Airlines' long-haul fleet has already reached its age, and they have to renew their fleet in the future. Soon, in the second half of 2024, they want to introduce their first Dreamliner, and I hope to try it soon 😁
