Theres not much color to these homes and I didnt see any santas or reindeer for example SL miss glam her decorations last xmas was like that.

The top movies for me are Gremlins because I just love the scene, chevy chase xmas vacation, planes trains and automobiles, and Home alone, again 80s!! Iv been seeing all these utubers decorating there house for xmas in gray, whites, silver..... what ... nooo!!! I'm SO HAPPY to see all the coverage (note I said coverage) of the upcoming new Lemax 2023 Halloween and Christmas pieces coming this year. Thank you to you, and to your band of cool cats, for doing a dive on what you thought of various pieces. But I have to say, it's the very the reason I bought the Lemax Christmas Ballet. For me, the new Lemax 2023 collection (as is the Department 56 2023 Halloween collection) is a bit of a dud. Don't get me wrong, there were some smiles to be had, but most of it seemed Blah compared to previous years. Like they were phoning it in. The concepts are there for sure, but there's something missing for me with overall presentation and feeling. Like some pieces have too much animation while others don't have enough, or ones that don't have any at all, should. So many pieces are adorned with re-used elements from years past, which I usually don't mind, but after the initial excitement of just seeing something new, I was left disappointed as it just seemed like lazy window dressing. That's not to say I didn't see some inspired stuff, like Samantha's Supernatural from Spooky Town, which felt whole-ly unique to me, and even, somewhat, the Haunted Aquarium and Foreboding Abode, but those ones desperately beg for animation (more than just a flickering candle on the Abode), in my opinion. Now, I love the creeping warbling brain of the Mystery Meat Canning CO, but I can't help but think its standout feature would've been better served in another piece, one that didn't rehash a popular series of other building animation setups. And Lemax seems to always knock it out of the park when it comes to their Sugar and Spice collection, some tasty pieces for 2023 there, but I wanted some grand, stand out, fully animated pieces from Lemax this year, and although some are serviceable and still look neat in the Spooky Town collection, though missing that "soul feeling" I'm looking for, The Phantom View Apartments and the Full Moon Diner, nothing stood out in the Christmas collection. I'm just glad I can search the RUclipss for older pieces like the Christmas Ballet, to find more inspired pieces for my collection. Already plenty of these breaking down, forums full of people saying the same, loud grrrr noise then stopping. Lemax need to sort out their quality issues, these are used for about 1 month per year, the warranty is next to useless as the second month of use is 12 months later! The facebook pages are full of people asking where to get repairs done and Lemax refuse to help. Be aware when parting with £150 for one of these.
When it comes actual "season" this year I'm going to talk about this. I am at the point in my collection where I don't really want anything animated because they all break. I'd rather have good lighting as I can leave it on and not worry about it

Thanks, been using that Christmas intro for a couple years now :) I use it VERY sparingly since 99 percent of my stuff is Halloween related

For a Lemax repairer, I suggest Random Junk Channel. He fixed my back cauldron inn, and he posts the repair on RUclips. Really cool.
