The days of 20 hour balsa build kits with shrink covering is long gone.
Building from kits, and or scratch is definitely a dying breed. I still love building from scratch but foamies are taking over.
You wouldn’t have the measurements for that receiver mount by chance would ya?
No, but I can measure it for you! Give me a little bit.
Size of the tray! 2in long, 1 3/4 wide at the front and 1 1/2in at the back. 1/8in plywood.
@@westhobbiesrc8051 👍🏼. Thanks! I’m going to 3D print one!
@@FlightLogProductions great idea! I was going to 3D print one as well but it was faster to cut it out of 1/8in ply lol
Yellow is for reverse
Thank you, I figured that’s what it was for, but was not sure.
@@westhobbiesrc8051 Yeah it's kind of become an expectation these days with planes.
@@DoRC I’ve set it up in the past on other EDFs but never need the use for it.
@@westhobbiesrc8051 I feel like it's a gimmick for most use cases. Maybe useful on really short runways though
@@DoRC I think it’s a great way to explode a fan lol these plastic fans can’t take that stop then go backwards for very long.
Which one would you recommend between FMS F16 64mm EDF jet Vs FMS Viper V2 70mm EDF Jet?
@@AbbyRCToys viper 70mm all day. It’s a fantastic flying EDF and handles great. You get retracts and flaps where the 64mm anything does not have retracts. But really it depends on where you fly and what’s better for your field.
the discount doesn't work?
No?! I’ll look hold on.
Try it now! I had to update the links. All the videos with FMS have been updated!
Uh, you think a 5000 mah will fit in there and CG okay?
It will not. You can fit a 4500 if you cut some foam out. It will need to be all the way back to balance tho. This is best flown with 3200-3800s.
That is a little bit on the big side. Max I would go is 4000 and shove it all the way back. I fly it on 3000/3300mAh.
No helis, no care... jk
Don’t worry! There will be a heli video tomorrow!
