Thank you glen! I greatly appreciate that. I have a different flying style than you normally see. I enjoy the smooth 3D and not just smacking it around!
Damn had me on the edge of my seat on that close call. Gonna have to commit one of these days to upgrading from my eflite s2 lol. Back in the day use to fly a raptor 30 was still in the beginner mode though LOL. I know your busy, but still waiting patiently for that upgrading and old raptor video as maybe I can do some upgrade on my still have raptor 30 to save some $$ and get back in the air. Love all you content Jeff Happy Holidays from Idaho.
I greatly appreciate it! I know you are and you are the reason why I’m even going to get that done flying again lol I do have a really cool old project about to start soon. Much older than the raptor hopefully after Christmas when my work slows down and I have some time again and I’ll get caught up on all these other projects. I’m either going to get the scale one flying or the 3-D one.
Thank you for that video. If you compare your Goosky RS 5 flights with the XLPower Nimbus 550, what are the main differences? Wish you a great day, too.
Thank you! I greatly appreciate it! It’s been probably a year and a half since I’ve flown a XL 550. But they both fly almost identical. It really comes down to personal personal preference. We have fantastic models available to us.
Can you please share what camera do you use to record your videos? I like to record every flight to analyze it afterwards but after recording with GoPro Hero 12 heli seems very small.
I use a GoPro Hero 12 for most flight videos (including this one) or my iPhone if I have someone to film. It took a lot of settings and playing around with the GoPro to even get this video quality and not look so far away. I’m still messing with it but every time it gets better and better.
The RS7 was rushed into production much like V1 of the RS4, so a refined RS5 on day one is a welcome sign that the brand may now be reaching a true stride. Wife presented me with an early Christmas, She choose wisely! I start a Genesis Mini build next week, very excited to do my first SAB! I have no brand loyalty built with anyone yet..currently I am treating them like Pokemon....gotta catch em all. What do you think of an OMP M7 as a next in line after the Genesis? There are many things I like about the design choices with the OMP, cant identify anything negative yet.
I think this comment is funny. Goosky rocks. Even the v1 versions. They stand behind their products and listen to the customers and make changes accordingly
I would not say the RS7 was rushed to market. But I do think that they need to send these models to regular people like me to test them months prior to release. That way any and all changes that need to be made (all companies do it) are done before the model is available to the public. That’s a great Christmas gift! I’ve got one on the way I will be building shortly. Once you go SAB you will never go back! lol I’m actually building a M7 now. So far the build has been very good! My biggest complaint this far is that you literally have to assemble everything. There is a ton of bags. The manual can be a little tricky to read not too bad though one of the better ones. There is a lot of great design features that I do like.
@@westhobbiesrc8051 Ahh the manual. I had some thoughts on improvement as did Chat GPT. The OMP rep just doubled down and the points were falling on deaf ears so I dropped it. OMP and possibly Soxos are my last two hills to climb after this SAB build. I'm trying not to be biased, but I am pretty sure after going through Goosky S1->GooskyS2->Goosky RS4->XL Nimbus V2->Tron Gemini->(SAB Genesis current build)->OMP M7->and maybe Soxos 7....I'll probably assume SAB for all future builds after my battle of the brands sampling. What catches my eye on both the OMP and the Soxos are the rigid structure. OMP looks very solid, but Soxos main frame...WOW!
@@Xplanker I have three, owning them will never make me a slobbering fanboi eager to kiss the ring of power. I'm pragmatically even with both the good and the bad about Goosky or any other name I have spent money on, built or flown. SAB, I'm looking at you...I plan to be vocal of both good and bad tastes from my upcoming experience. Just ask Tron and XL. Spend enough time around industry people and you get to glean more than a few dirty little insider secrets that people try to gloss over in the name of 'public professionalism' or boosting sales, I get it...if this was my livelihood I wouldn't be rocking the boat in public either. @kajuta240 You are clearly the type of person who expects to purchase automobiles perfectly off the lot with zero faults or recals, aren't you? While that's all fine and good, it's just not realistic. I fly all brands and fanboi of none. I put my energy into becoming a better pilot instead of finding faults in my models. There has to be something major to find me complaining about it. But that's just me
It flies like a Dragonfly 👍amazing...
Man you have really stepped up your game jeff.. You have the best flying style, never a dull moment in these insane flight videos..
@@MrEdjob Thank you! I greatly appreciate that. I try to get better and better every day. Never know everything and still learning new things!
You are the man,I mean the way you fly it looks like it’s in slow motion,it just looks graceful, you are amazing at flying, you have a great day sir.

The ground came up fast there for a second lol nice flyin
It sure did! Almost became a pile of parts spread across a good distance lol I appreciate it!
Yup, it flies real good. But you certainly had a big part in that. Nice flying as usual my Bro.
I appreciate it buddy! Trying to get better and better! Can’t wait to fly again!
Goosky is killing it
They sure are!
Going to have to get a second job if I keep watching your videos! LOL. This one could be next. Great video!
I’m in the same situation sir
I feel the same way! I need a third job to keep up with all these new models!!
Looks amazing. I hope you get the chance to try rotor flight one day
Thank you! I definitely plan on messing with Rotorflight soon!

Awesome job Jeff! I got mine as pre order and i love it. Can you share what head speeds and pitch youre using?
Thank you! It sure is! So I’m running 14.5 degrees in bank 1 and 13.5 degrees in bank 2 and 3. Running 1600/2200/2600 RPM.
Thank you for that video.

Question sir,in the video you said it flys like a 550,is this the same size as my blade 480?thank you sir
So it’s a 550 class Heli like the fusion 480 with the stretch kit. They’re basically the same size.

Waiting for 600mm version
It will just be a boom, belt and push rod kit for the RS5. I’ll have it soon.
Threes. No rotor flight when ur flying v bar
I’m going to play with Rotorflight by soon but I LOVE Vbar!
It flies great because you’re using vbar😂
Vbar is great!
Where do you live? I want you to teach me. Please.
