I think your lawyer should come on your show and explain in detail what has been happening with the pistol brace rule and other important court rulings. An appeals court vacated the ruling, which means the ATF “rule” is null and void. Pistol braces are legal and you don’t need a tax stamp to have an AR pistol. The Supreme Court also recently overturned Chevron deference. That is a huge blow to “Executive Branch agencies like the ATF who like to invent their own “rules” outside of Congressional law. So now, if the ATF wants to get back in this pistol brace fight, they will have to elevate the case to a very unfriendly Supreme Court. I think the reason the ATF has been silent for 8 months is that they no longer have a legal case to present. They can’t win and they know it.
Apparently according to FBI director Wray he did have some type of optic. It appeared from what I saw in a grainy photo it appeared to be small like a red dot type or prism.
This is a question for AGM. They have listed their recoil rating in G’s and not in ft/lbs so we aren’t sure. We’ve asked this question and not gotten a 100% clear answer.
If you have a suppressor as an individual you can have a normal will saying who you want the suppressor to go to. It can then be transferred on a form 5 with no tax. My last trust suppressor at the end of 2023 was around 6 months. I did a SBR on a trust earlier this year and it was approved in 5 days.
They are now currently trying to do some type of early phone in delegate transfer before the convention so there is no one that can attempt to throw their hat in the ring and have an open convention.
For my individual suppressor stamp I was right at 2 months an then I sent them an email an it was a few hrs later they sent me my approval! Idk if it was a coincidence or what...😂
Thank you for this episode. I know this is a night time shooting show, but I appreciate that you touched on the legalities and politics of the gun industry. It has been hard to keep up with all the rules, laws, and hoops to jump through to be on the right side of the law. I believe there are a lot of games/politics being played by 3-letter agencies with the intent of tying up the courts and make things as confusing as possible for local law enforcement on down to the individual gun owners, all while those same 3-letter agencies are collecting data and putting names on lists that don't exist (wink wink).
When you pay for the stamp you can not go over state line with out letting the ATF know when and where you are going and you better take a copy of that stamp at all times with the bang bang. Obama made the trust every person has to go thru the back ground check. You live and if you made it your self you would be the manufacture.

It looks like the kid had a Holosun AEMS red dot sight.
When suppressors get removed from the NFA the trust is no longer useful as it will be able to be transfered and or sold to anyone. But not yet.
