Probably one of the worst advertisements Corona could have recieved ro date.
This looks like the best portable urinal that I've seen. Thanks for the review and demo.
I am pretty impressed with it.
YOU DIDN'T SHAKE THE TIP OF THE BOTTLES WHEN YOU WERE DONE
Wow... I could have used this on my last driving job. Sometimes, there is no one where to use the bathroom. A lot of restaurants were closed and fast food places have magnets on the door to keep anyone from going inside. I'd literally had to get out of the vehicle and go around to the side to pee. Naturally, as soon as I started to go, along comes a car. lol
Great product.
Thanks for the video
I didn't even get to the end of the video before I added this to my Amazon wish list!
Ryan Hester ditto
Hey Cliff, I had been backpacking most of my teen years, but it wasn't until working wildland fire security for the US Forest Service that I learned the secret of pee bottles. I used that knowledge later in my Class B motorhome with the ubiquitous Gatorade bottle until - it spilled! Now as an almost octogenarian I still keep up with "technology", and I will definitely add Travel John to my preps - even to my EDC! Thanks for reviewing so many practical items that others miss! And I did notice your choice of beer LOL.
I'm a little obsessed with this topic and this thing is a perfect solution!
The Rickey Smiley Morning show brought me here! 🤣
Blessings From Texas🤠
Dude, you cant waste beer for testing, even if it is Corona 😂
RIP Corona :)
@@TheUrbanPrepper dont listen to him, perfect thing to test with looks, smells, and taste like piss. and the added bonus of being made from piss lol
I use these all the time for camping trips, brilliant invention. No trip across a dark field in the pouring rain at 02:00.
I have the Go Girl for emergencies so I guess I could hit the target with the Travel John :) Thanks Cliff
I remember seeing that on a "top 10 new tech" type of video and everyone made fun of it. I thought it was a sounds idea. A few months later, I started seeing it at Wal-Mart 👍
I had to GoGirl too... because I got it at WalMart. My wife had to use it on the side of the road one night int he middle of nowhere and it went... pretty bad. 🤣 First of all, it's not contained, like this is, so best case scenario, you have to have your own container that you're confident is big enough, or you have to find a spot outdoors and try to avoid splatter/puddles/streams following gravity toward your feet/etc, but the real problem with the product (the GoGirl) is that the hole in the bottom of the funnel was restricted so much that it is guaranteed to drain more slowly than you do! If you're going to rely on it, my wife recommends opening the package and cutting the end off the funnel to remove the restriction.
Great for times when Urine-a-hurry....!!!
really bad, but luckily my sense of humor isn't that finely tuned... tnx for the laugh ;D
That comment made it worth the watch!
I have kept these in my car kit for a couple of years. Excellent item, especially if you have kids.
Why am I laughing so hard! Where do you find this stuff, lol. I gotta have it! 🤣
LOL! Let's just day that a few month's back we REALLY needed one of these while in the car. Little Miss Prepper couldn't hold it any longer and needed to go.
They sell some bags at "Daiso" the japanese $ stores for $1.50 - that I have bought & keep in my preps. But those stores are not in every state. They are in the travel section. I don't know if they sell them online as I never have bought from their store online.
Thanks for the demonstration. I recently came upon these at Big 5 online.
How he smiled while talking made me laugh
Cliff, your attention to detail astounds me.
You just didn’t want to drink the “Corona”
🤣🤣🤣
Coronaphobic
They were fairly old bottles of Corona that had been sitting in the pantry for years. I have a new stock of Corona in the fridge.
Those old Coronas are 50 percent pee anyways.
Didn’t realise it held so much. Good one. I use a Peebol but the attachment is better on this one
Hi Cliff, thank you very much for this. I have a couple of TravelJohns in my bottom drawer which have been there (unused of course) for a few years. Do you think they would still be OK and usable? Or should I buy some new ones? Thanks and best wishes, Sandra (from Australia).
Great review, never even heard of this product before. 👍🏼
I'm glad that you enjoyed it, Michael!
Oh… I got a pack of those after I nearly got a very wet situation when I got stuck in a traffic jam - I managed to get home before my bladder gave up on me, but that near miss was a clear sign I decided not to ignore. I've been carrying a couple in my car, but fortunately never had to use them; after watching this video I'm going to keep at least one in my EDC bag, too.
BTW, for the ladies, there's also a kind of silicone funnel they can use when they have to go to public toilets and the don't want to sit down to pee.
And I don't know if you have these in the US, but I've found toilet paper rolls that come with a smaller roll instead of the standard cardboard tube. They're nice for carrying around, so I always keep one or two with me.
Can it be used to thicken soups and gravies which were made a little too watery to serve to guests or family?
This will come in handy for the campers that wait in long lines to get a product
Pouring beer directly into the “device” is possibly the most realistic test other than using the product for real.
Best use of beer I've ever seen!
LOL!!
Thanks for posting this! I've been itching to go for a long drive to ease some of my cabin fever, but feel limited by my bladder because I definitely don't want to have to make any stops.
Very helpful I was just wondering about the product and I found your video 👏🏼
I'm not going to lie... that's quite impressive and useful ! Thanks for the heads-up !
I agree. Pretty impressive, especially when it absorbed the second beer.
I never thought about getting anything like this as it would definitely be a little more difficult for a female to use. But, it's better than nothing! Thank you for the video.
They also make the "Travel Jane" for women.
My wife was able to use them she puts the bottom lip down as had not had any issues. Though she did use two in the shower to get ahead of the learning curve.
@@brycee.maryott8802 The travel jane is the exact same design, just in pink! 😅🌸
@@josemhernandez1974 The lip is supposed to go forward for women to prevent splashing.
@@nicolina1026 So, it's "Pink Tax"? I hoped that the design would be a bit different to accommodate women better. Guess I should know better by now. :(
Great product idea. Thanks for sharing.
That is an awesome product, I will definitely be adding this to my preps. Great review👍😃
Thank you so much!
OMG. Laughed so hard... had to run to the potty. LOL!
Actually this is a nice idea. The last time I was out in the shelter, we had a horrific storm. I had to do my wee emptied water bottle, because the weather was just too horrific outside to leave the tent. I certainly didn't want to waste that water bottle, but I didn't want to get soaking wet either. Quick question, can you dispose of these things on the Fire?
Always enjoy your videos Cliff, thanks for sharing.
Great example of a use case! The bag itself is made of plastic, and who knows what chemicals are used to turn it into a gel, so I don't think it should be burned in a fire pit. Thanks for watching!
Thank you for this video. I didn't know these existed but I am definitely going to invest in some .
And then you drink it out of the urinal bag. 🤣 I’m just joking!
Thanks for the review.
Went to visit family during covid cuz everyone nagged me to visit despite the virus and not surprisingly, many restaurants and gas stations wouldn't let me ho in with a mask and fully vaccinated to use the washroom! Really wish I had these.
I've used them before working with FEMA. They work great!!
Cliff I’m offended. Corona = piss??
Perhaps there is room for debate. ;) I’m kidding! Hope you are doing well!! Signing off from NH
LOL!!!! I'm a big fan of piss then, because I love an ice cold Corona with lime on a hot summer day.
TheUrbanPrepper I hate when you are right!
Spot on. Hot day. Corona beer. And Corona virus!
thought he was going to drink the beer first to be able to pee into the travel john
Seems like a pretty great product! I do like the reusable Gatorade bottle in my hammock though lol. I guess it's ok to mention I'm sitting on the toilet while writing this comment 😂
Thanks for showing this I bought these two years ago and haven't had "the emergency" yet. But glad to see I am ready! lol
A travel-john... a 32 oz cup from Quik Trip
When you have the bladder the size of a walnut 🙄, invaluable!
I'm not gonna shift blame to the Little preppers in our household, this gift from the Gods is for me 😂! Thanks as ever Cliff.
That's good for tradesmen. We're regularly caught in places that don't have a working washroom, and also don't have a discreet place outside.
Awesome! I hadn't thought of that use case.
Awesome very useful when traveling long distance
Thanks for this!
Great product, put it on my Amazon wish list. But why did you waste 2 beers!?!
It was Corona, which isn't good enough to drink IMHO 😄
my question when you drive and you need to pee but you can't stop so how you use it?
There was a recent article on the shortage of these. Thank goodness I had already ordered some thanks to your video. Thanks for your informative videos, as always!
There's no shortage of these 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤷🏽♂🤷🏽♂
@@chunkylefunga not now, but allegedly there was 2 years ago.
So you dont open the pouch with the white stuff in it 1st?
You're in Seattle, no video of the CHAZ?
I'm staying FAR away from CHAZ. :)
@@TheUrbanPrepper that's alright Yankee Marshall and some other guy already videoed in there
First, the Urban Pooper, and now the Urban Peeper.
Edit: Is the inclusion of Corona a critique of the taste and quality?
Great video. Product is promising. Will definitely pick one up.
I'm glad that you enjoyed it!
How much are they ?
*Fun fact:* Sniper teams wear military grade diapers on extended HVT missions. This technology has been around for years. It just took an extremely long time to make it to the civilian market.
Stay classy my friends.
EDITED for double spacing.
Awesome fun fact! I didn't know that. Makes sense though. Thanks Bert!
What polymer do they use
Looks like a great product!
Keep one with your computer so don't have to pause any UP videos to go pee.
Great stuff, good review! Just as always!
🙂🙂
Very nice invention...
That's why i always keep plenty of empty Styrofoam drink cups from gas stations piled up in my back seat. Yeah, that's why.
Would’ve been cool if you cut the absorption part open
I’ve always thought Corona tastes like absolute pi....
I’m thinking Miller Genuine Draft would have been a better urine simulator seeing as it tastes like piss too lol
All this needs is a corresponding app on your cellphone that makes the sound of running water.
LMAO!!!
Can carry this on airplane?
😂😂😂I always say beer tastes like pee smells.
LOL!!!
I was going to say I couldn't imagine needing to use this; having the privacy but not being able to pee in a toilet or on the ground (like camping) but the traffic idea turned me around. Also if you have an "Emergency Lock-Down" kit in your place of business (I work in a school) and you might be locked down away from the bathroom, this is a GREAT thing to have!
Exactly! Maybe you're camping and it's pouring outside. Might just be easier to use one of these. Or if you get stuck in an elevator for hours. Seems like many different scenarios that might warrant having one.
Another great video. Hope you keep safe!!
Don't bother trying to order this item, Amazon will not ship at lease to my address!
Do you live in California?
ur in yall
Very interesting and very odd product. But definitely could see where it could come in handy on long road trips
What’s the difference between this one and the others? Traveljane and others?
I haven't tested the other brands.
Nice review !
Urine pot may be more useful but it will take some space
Convenient
I ordered mine through your link!
Thank you, sir!
is there an expiry date on them
Why would you waste beer like that?
In hummer warfare, we (male infantry soldiers) used large month Gatorade bottles in Afghanistan.
What is go in on a trip: a cotton filled bottle. What this guy goes in: this dipper like bag
How much for the Corona gel?
I'll bring you one the next time we meet up.
Would be amazing On The boat!!! No need to squat over a bucket anymore.way
Indeed this has been yet the most invention in our 21st century
I can imagine one of these hitting the windshield behind me at about 80. Hmmmmm
LMAO!!!!!
I have been been peeing in bottles most my adult life. The biggest problem in peeing in bottles, is not spilling them, it is taking a big swig from them. Probably much more practical for women than men this product.
It causes infections
Iwant to buy
Interesting product :)
can never drink corona without thinking about this!
There about 2.79 to take a piss. Not cheap.
huh... you're local. okay, i'm listening.
i have a road trip coming up that's unavoidable during viral times. we're pretty good about masks and things here in western washington, but i doubt other states' cultures and adherence to preventative measures; i had almost everything figured out except restroom usage... and looks like you may have saved my ass, my man. thank you.
a Truckers must
Great use case!
A product like this came to shark Tank India, and going for patent named Peechute.
Appropriate to use beer. We only rent it anyway.
