- In this video I’m showcasing the mod, Species. A mod made by the one and only @PeculiarRoom, a team of mod developers where each of them made a new mob in the mod’s latest update. For example, Noon made the Cruncher and Ninni made the Treeper and so on…

What a wonderful, little, vanilla friendly mod. Can’t wait for Alex’s caves update so I can compile new, big, semi vanilla friendly modpack for a long, chill playthrough.

Damn these species truly are peculiar! Oh well, may as well watch this at Noon, wouldnt want to be a silly ninni and miss out on the new Species that have found themselves Crunching out of the Caves!

The tree creeper is by far one of the coolest, though i wish they were dangerous like the nuclear creepers from alex caves, they have a menacing presence but being gentle giants doesnt fit with creeper variations lol
Making them hostile wouldnt work cause old growth taiga are not easy to traverse by big mobs, and having a random giant mob causing large explosion isnt really a good game design imo.Nucleeper worke cause theyre on a place thatd supposed to be super dangerous.
With the mechanic treeper have, i think they want it to be a mob that player can have in their base

This mod is so weird and I love it. I’m especially a big fan of treepers because good god they are massive

The cruncher looks like that cause Noon (Alexs Caves artist) works on species too.

I like some of those creatures, like the three extinct ones that comes from eggs, the tree creeper and the nether one but the rest of them are not for me I think that to have a bird or an avisal fish we could have a real animal for example.
All of them are fictional creature.The aim of the mod is a goofy fictional creature mob
